The evironment still doesn't look that great. Even with the upgrade. The cars look awesome though. I still may check it out.

That's pretty much some of the best looking grass in any game...ever. Even with the bad quality.
It's a track. The environments look perfect. It's Fuji raceway...which is already pretty dull to begin with. Apart from the mountains way out in the distance, how much better can an environment get than dead grass around a track? The buildings are great, the stands are great, the road looks better than ever. Polyphony have done their job. Graphics wise.
Eh. It's the same old God of War 2 with improved visuals. The beautiful art design and locations is the only interesting thing in this series anymore. It's the same old button-masher with a predictable story that the last one was. Let me guess: in GOW3 you finally kill zeus and take over olympus, so now the titans want power and the series gets dragged into a fourth installment where you now fight the titans who are vying for power. Boring. The first God of War is the best, should have been the only one in the series.

double dash was a pretty amazing game I must admit. Id say its tied in second place for me with the N64 version, but only because the N64 version introduced a LOT of my favorite tracks in the franchise.
Yeah i know what you mean. I love Mario Kart on SNES the most because of the memories, but Double Dash is just a whole lot of fun.
no, without it console players would never hit anything. between the sticks and laggy P2P connection you actually need aim assit.

I don't understand why everyone comes up with this laggy connection ****. It's not 1999 anymore. There's like 1 in about 25 games that there's a bad lag issue. Well on PS3 anyways. It's not really an excuse. The sticks are fine. If you can't get kills, you just have to practice. Anyways, COD's too quick to notice the aim assist unless you're a camper.
I actually enjoyed the demo alot. The physics felt awesome. Only thing I didn''t like was how you slid on grass as if it was ice, and when your in the dirt you can only drive 10mph, with no dirt or grass kicking up from your wheels spinning. Hopefully they fix that for the final product along with improved graphics and GT5 will be awesome.
And this is coming from a Forza 3 Fan and mostly 360 gamer.

If you're going 100 MPH, grass is like ice. And the reason you can't go faster then about 10 mph on the grass is simple. it's punishment for going on the grass. it'll stop people from trying to skip over parts of the track...
I actually tested it and this is coming from a huge GT fan. The grass does feel like ice. I've gone 15-20 mph and the car just spins out and starts sliding. The physics are amazing, but this is something that must be fixed. An unrealistic punishment to a simulation is silly. How about a time penalty? +1 second for every time you go in the grass ounds more realistic and then the final times will add up in the end. Or possibly the lap doesn't count for cheating similarly to GTR.
This demo was only released for a promo. It's only a contest demo, to see who wins the competition. They're looking for the best driver. Not the best cut corner driver. I'm glad they released it like how it is. They really have outdone themselves. It feels great.
and to that Forza 3 pic...Why do all Forza images look so dark? It looks ridiculous.

Forza screens make it look like it's midnight. You can't even see the back of the car. It looks ridiculous and terrible. GT's lighting smashes Forza's graphics out of the park...

Also, why is the forza 3 environments getting so much praise.....i can't see a thing to praise about it.
Do people not remember when Gt4 prologue came out and looked closer to GT3 graphics. Then GT4 released and looked amazing. I don't see how it won't be the same. It's polyphony, they always deliver and i'm pretty sure they've realised they have some competition now and will up the gameplay and online.
