I went to go trade in a bunch of games once, and when I found out how much they were going to give me for them I almost fell on the floor I was laughing so hard.  How is it that if you buy a new game, barely a year old, they give you usually no more than $20 for it, then turn around and sell it for full price again.  I don't see any value in trading in a game for $10 or less, if that.  Especially when they turn around and sell your used game for $20.

I would never trade in games or systems for store credit... I had an arguement with a GameStop manager when I pointed out at the sign above his head  "We Buy Games"!   That's all the EB/GameSpot Stores are now is used games...You buy a new game for $49.95 you get $20 in trade, they sell the game for $45.00,Since if you bought the game there for $50.00 They make money on it twice....it's the biggest consumer rip-off i've ever seen. I only buy new games for 1) EB/GameStop makes less on it. 2) I like scratch free dics and brand new packaging.  I got into another argument cause the GameStop emloyee was trying to talk me out of buying a new copy of God Of War,saying it's $5.00 cheaper and comes with a warranty if you don't like it blah blah blah..I told him give me the new one.
