@MonkeyRobot: I had no idea that was even a thing. I know several people that bought MGSV on Xbox and loved the game. Seeing Kojimas past relationship with Sony though this does not come as any surprise and I am glad to see Sony supporting him.

@Evil__Homer: Trust me it all comes down to the individual. Both my PS4 and Xbox One have served me well. Xbox tends to have more software glitches... but that's whatever. My PS4 is a launch console and it and the controllers get thrown into a backpack 2-3 times a week since I've gotten it. No issues. My friend who has an Xbox One, won't read discs half the time. He'll shake the controller and you can hear plastic bits jumbling around inside. Think he's had it for over a year now. Like I said I haven't had any of these issues on my Xbox. It's just that when an electronic is mass produced in the millions, you are going to have bad eggs. It was Friday and the last 100 Xbox Ones the Chinese child put together, he didn't put half the screws in... it happens.

@creepywelps: I'm aware and the amount of times they have outsold them in the U.S. is very little. I was just saying massively popular multiplayer games such as the ones above, coupled with a marketing deal with a specific console (in this case PS4) could lead to a sales 'win'... for said console.

@ipar: Game delays do happen, but as for right now all we have been told is '2016' for TLG. The other game you are talking about is Shenmue 3. That game doesn't come out until 2017. Believe that has already been confirmed. To say they 'aren't even guaranteed' is a bit of a moot point. I could say that for every single game that is coming out next year.

@Jdzspace: I'm very curious to see if Microsoft outsells PS4 for the rest of the Holiday season. I really don't think so though. Black Ops 3 and Battlefront marketing deal with PlayStation will probably bring more sales to PS at least in November.

@ipar: The grown up? Really? Please. We are talking corporate business here. The main goal is to push out as many units as possible, push software sales... rake in as much money as possible. Sony can use their massive, record breaking, sales as good PR. MS just simply is not in any position whatsoever or they would be doing the same thing. Oh wait... they have done the same thing.
