if i was you id save for the xps1710...the one you mentioned will game, but under the configuration section it can only upgrade to a 7400turbo  card. the fella that said his xps1710 is excellent. well ive seen it in action and it is well worth the 3k for it. if you can save a bit more coin, i would do so, you dont want to have a behind system already. theres alot of notebooks out there for great prices.....me personally i think id go with(KILLER_NOTEBOOKS).......theres one its called the executioner! looks great and the specs are good, they also have lower models that will play games that have been released this year, theres also widow-pc, voodoo pc, falcon pc,alienwares i hear run very hot, but most important is the customer service, thats a must!!! all in all if you just want to play yesterdays games your xps1210 will work, but crysis wont.

im a big fan of the battlefield series, especially battlefield vietnam, its a fun easy game to play. Its getting old and i think they should make a battlefield vietnam 2. or at least take all the user created maps and redo it with the new engine. wow what a treat that would be. theres just something about the jungle that make it so interesting. hey if i could make a game id implement trip wires poisioness snakes that bite, maybe centipedes youve seen em on platoon right ouchas....also maybe some wild animals like tigers that will take you out if you go solo through the jungle instead of being with your platoon. maybe a better river system so people will use the boats more, and one thing id take care of is the helis. man they get so annoying at times 20 rockets ???? maybe 6 tops, but theres nothing worse than a heli that just flies in a circle over a flag and bombs ya eachtime you spawn. also there would be helis to deliver medical and ammo supplys and drop off platoons for battle. it should be team orientated, not every man for himself, like it is now , well theres a few exceptions, ive seen guys form 6 to 8 man troops, and take on the opposing side, just because of the organized company there in. But im just dying to play an updated version of this game or a totally new one, with new features. Also the jungle should have more cover to hide in like trees that lean towards eachother over river systems, so your not shot by a heli before you even get anywheres. also the pilot should beable to be shot through the window of the cockpit, so its not all about a heli pilot who gets 200 kills in his heli all the time maybe if we bug them enough they will consider doing a second game :) also an easier map editor would be great, something simple not so complex. But all in all im still having fun with the game, and know alot of other people are too. Also i think the maps could be alot bigger, some seem pretty small when your in a phantom, and always turning to go back the way you just came from. Ill always play this game,just because of the jungle. great maps to download are(riverbend, hastings reloaded, ky hoang thunder, hamburger hill) there's like 129 maps to download, but not all seem to run as smooth as the original ones do. the ones ive mentioned run silky smooth on my machine and 2 other pcs ive seen with them ,also run likity split. wish more people would download ky hoang thunder and riverbend. guess its not easy for some people to place files in files correctly. i know i had no clue except one map explained on how to do it in the readme file :) now i have like 20 user created maps to play and some are co-op also :) wish i knew what and how to get that point of existance mod on here and use some of the mods and maps they have for it. anyways lets get on dice's back and bug em for a new Battlefield Vietnam game.................always a fan of da jungle.....
