Anyone can download Minecraft: Education Edition absolutely no cost! You can either try Minecraft: Education Edition free of charge through the free trial or download the demo lesson. The trial trial is free, but you have to have an account, either an Office 365 Education account or an Microsoft 365 account. You do not need an account or login to access the demo lesson. Minecraft: Education Edition is compatible with Chromebook, iPad and Mac. Before trying Minecraft: Education Edition, go through the System Requirements article to ensure your device is supported.
About the free trial
The trial trial is fully functional and comes with all the features available in the paid version. The trial is compatible with Code Connection and Classroom Mode. These features are explained in the Get Started with Code Connection and Get Started with Classroom Mode articles.
The trial is restricted to 25 logins for teachers who have an Office 365 Education Account and 10 for all users. After that, a paid license is required to continue playing. Trial logins are not able to be refreshed. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team immediately so you don't use all your trial logins! After your trial logins have been used, Minecraft: Education Edition is available to purchase.

About the demo lessons
Demo lessons allow you to test Minecraft: Education Edition at no cost and without an account. Each demo lesson is limited in functionality: for example the worlds and progress can't be saved, and it's not possible to join or host an online game. Demo lessons give you to experience a real-world lesson in Minecraft: Education Edition. There is no limit to the number of times you play every demo lesson.

Follow these steps to attempt an interactive lesson
Select the Minecraft: Education Edition version you want to download from the Get Minecraft download page. The Minecraft: Education Edition version that you downloaded should be installed. Start Minecraft: Education Edition and, on the Welcome to Minecraft: Education Edition screen, select If you don't have an account, try an interactive lesson. Click View Terms to view the license agreement. MC TITAN LAUNCHER Select Accept Terms and then Play when ready to play. Select Start Lesson.
