Unless you REALLY favour the PS3 exclusives, why on earth would you buy a PS3 over a 360??

I am sure I will get my fare share of flames, but I am hoping that some will actually read the full blog post. It really isn't a slam against the X360, it ientifies an interesting phenomenon to explain why the SP3 exclusive library is better. I would have just posted it here, butI know I'll get "wall of text" comments and such.

With VG becoming such a large a widespread medium, I honestly believe their are a lot of very intelligent people out there who will find my analysis interesting. I am writing to share with them, not to anger fan boys or incite a riot.

An as for the seocnd commenter on a my lack of logic, actually, ths analysis is based entirely on logic, not opinon, other than the subjective nature of reviews in general. I didn't contirubte a single reivew that as used in the analysis, so my opinion is only relfected in my explanation of my finindings. To tell the truth, I actually assumed I would find no difference at all, or a small advantage for the X360, I was as surpirsed as the next guy.

Do you not realize how immense the PS2 library was? "Some good titles" equates to probably 10% of the good games in the PS2 library.

Maybe you don't understand............ I don't care how many titles it had. They have to appeal to me to be considered worthwhile. FF sucked during the PS2 era, MGS is the worst series ever, and Gran Turismo got old after 2. Honestly, the system is ok. The other RPG's are good, thats about all I will give it.
