I agree with Stephenjag2004; Crysis, whatever else it may have going for it, is SORELY lacking on the optimization front. I run a Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 Ghz processor, 2 Gig of DDR2 800 Ram, and a EVGA GeForce 7950GT 512 meg video card, and I can run Bioshock, FEAR, COD4 and Gears with all graphical options maxed out in 1280x1024 resolution, and my framerate never drops below 30 fps. Crysis, though, I have to run on 800x600, because I can't run even 1024x768 with settings on high, and when the settings are anything below "high", most of the objects on the screen drop out. And even on 800x600, my framerates are constantly in the 20s! Crytek and EA are so hung up on having the most graphically advanced game ever, that they forgot to make a game that 99% of gamers could actually PLAY! What good are all these graphics if no one is able to turn them up? If my computer can run those other games flawlessly at peak settings, then I should be able to run Crysis with settings that at least look as good as Half-Life 2 (which I can't).
