Post in the Tf2 forums on problems with the game and check Valve Forums for posts that are almost the same as yours.

You will want to install the i/o port. It offers support for the Connectors as well as keeps out dust

Read the manual for the motherboard it is the only wat to know what jumpers are for what. If your not careful you could fry your jump leads.

Personally I don't think you can beat IL-2 Sturmovik. I play it all the time.

Im not sure if you can count this but I have more hours in the jets on BF2 than I would like to count so if your into FPS thats always a possibility

I like Hawx but only because I enjoy Ace Combat- its practically the same.

"And when I play a first-person shooter, keyboard and mouse is the configuration that I want to play on"-Tod doess't seem to relise that consoles will kill the mouse and keyboard-xbox actually bans the thing you can only emulate a controller.

Well this just p*sses me off. After reading the rage interview with GS, http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6207773.html?tag=latestheadlines;title;1 it seems Rage are no longer primarily a PC developer. Multiplatflorm all the way, which in essence means us PC gamers are handicapped so the consoles can catch up and we are then served up a half baked shoddy port 6 months later.

Without going into too much detail it comes down to piracy again, bastards- when will developer learn that X number of pirates doesn't mean X number of sales! A lot of 'richer' young people play video games, the parents of these people like to know what the child is doing in the evenings and want them stay away from drugs/alcohol/street corners so they buy them games, they buy them games every week meaning developers sell a lot of **** for £40. This is Contrasted with the PC. People in poor countries save up for several years to get a computer, bodging it together where they can. When a game is released their machines cant handle games like Doom3/Battlefield 1942/Bioshock/Crysis so they download it to try it out. They wouldn't of bought it anyway because it doesn't work properly on their computers so its not like the developer is missing out!

I can't help but feel that developers are using the piracy excuse to justify their own crappy games. I remember Doom3/Quake 4, I remember the hype on release. I remember having to get my old man to go into the store and buy both of them (on separate occasions) for me. I remember getting it home and installing it. I also remember not managing to play for more than an hour of at a time because it sucked- i had more fun with Jedi Knight. Well like alll developers that leave us- f**k'em, any one that leaves should have there keyboards taken away- WASD embargo!

:? So...Why exactly does it look worse then CE 2.0? It should atleast have the same graphically ability + better performence.

Jamiemydearx3

well no because unlike CryEngine 2.0 this one has to run on an xbox360/ps3 so in other words they have to remove alot of stuff and then fill in the gaps.

Leave it on the consoles. Crytek have made it quite clear they don't care PC, thats why they never finished the trilogy sold it off to a 3rd party that came up with Warhead and then moved on to Consoles.

For me everything in The Witcher started off great. The into was fantastic and the battle mechanics where interesting. However my impression of the game diminished over time.

Colour. First thing i released was the lack of colour. Levels are grey and poorly lighten. I found Stalker to be the same really, in the sense that the atmosphere was there but it was still lacking proper art direction. I understand that the setting of it and the use of greys and dull colours as a backdrop to the Gothic setting but still....

Sex with women. Who would imagine something so interesting would become so boring when incorporated into a game. Cards? Hu?

Sound/Dialouge. This one killed it for me.

Personally I'm not too keen on voice work in games. True when done well it can add something to the game however I have always been a fan of reading. One of the most immerse RPG's I have played is Bailders Gate 2. The NPC scripts in that are still in my books the best to date- more so if you get the mods.

The voice work in this game though is awful. Flat and 'foreign', just like Stalker. The dialogues play out like KOTOR, oblivion, NWN etc but I never felt like I was talking to anyone just strolling through sound files.

I got about 15 hours in before quiting in the end so maybe I'm not being fair on the game, or maybe I'm just not in sync with other hardcore RPG gamers out there. In fairness I did find myself enjoying Mass Effect so maybe my oppinion is invalid lol.

Im not trying to flame just offering oppinions.

Ha that made me laugh. What you mean to say is that you downloaded the software and you dont have a legit CD key to play on the ranked servers so like all pirates you downloaded Hamachi to play on cracked servers.

Buy the game and the you won't have a problem. 'Offical servers' have nothing to do with it, you can always play on different servers hosted/paid for by other players and then you wont have that problem.

Thanks for your reply it does just seem to be a case of troubleshoot to find the answer then, Gah I hate having to take apart my PC though, always run the risk of breaking something on my end lol.
