Would be good if they could be bothered to release some Killzone 2 screenshots with all the hype around it... Just not more of the pre rendered stuff they release ages ago.
"Gaming supercomputer"... Its got a multicore processor and more a more advanced graphics chip. Which most PC processors in the next year will be able to compete with... With which most DirectX 10 cards which be able to compete with. Or most likely be BETTER. Its not that *super*..

Slicksteve22: I don't think I've ever said the Xbox 360 is better than the Playstation 3. Think all I've said its that its got nothing at all worthwhile to offer at the minute, game wise... Its multimedia functions make it a cut down PC, and for the price its going for you can get a reasonable PC for the same money.. If I want to browse the internet I'll use my PC and keyboard, not arse around with a controller trying to "type".. I don't care about the fact you can probably plug a keyboard into it. I don't really care if its got USB ports and whatever else.... because most households have a got PC anyway for storing their music and photos... I have a 360 and I don't ever really use the same multimedia functions on that very often... unless I've got stuff on there I want to show a friend.
Yeah funny how Blu-ray disks pretty much means port across a game that fits on a *Xbox 360 DVD* with no changes made to it.. then charge more for it... Hmmm.. Call of Duty 3, FEAR...
PS3 needs all the help it can get. Any luck the complete cock up it seems to have been will sting Sony for trying rip the public off. If the batteries in its controller don't explode and burn peoples houses down.
"ps3 is the god of next gen" Technically it is... But there's no actual real proof is there at the moment? "Resistance" and "Motorstorm" would seem to the best of a bad bunch of launch titles, but thats just another FPS and another racing game. New technology has it's "learning period".. Its going to be ages before the developers to make the most of it... Especially since the tools for it are supposed to be lousy compared to the ones for the 360. The development costs are also lower for the 360... The 360 also has the XNA C# suite, so that encourages independent development, and if you have the backing (money, time) possibly independent developers / publishers using Live Arcade to output new games. I can't really see Sony encouraging that.... I can't see getting "jack sh*t" for free out of Sony. I like my PS2, I like a lot of games for it. I don't like the whole PS3 Sony attitude... that "You want it, so we will rip you off in any way we can because he know people will buy it anyway".. Wouldn't be surprised if some the eBay sellers aren't employed by Sony anyway! :) Love this bit too.. "However, you won't be able to replace the controller battery. If the rechargeable battery ever dies, you'll have to buy a new controller or send the dead one back to Sony for replacement." Since they've had that fault laptop battery recall I wonder how long these will last :)
I can't really, at the moment, see any reason at all to own a Playstation 3 now or for the next year or so, until the games make proper use of the hardware, if it really is more powerful or capable than the XBox 360. I think a good point of this is the whole "Killzone 2 game footage" which was simply pre-rendered stuff.. Which has been kicking around the net for months and months.... And there can't be that much to show for the game since the developer is on and off advertising in such UK (and US?) magazines such as "Edge" for people to join the development team. I guess its case of the original 360 launch, where most of the first batch of games where Xbox 1.5 games rather than "next gen" titles... I think apart from things like Advanced Warfighter and Dead Rising, the first year or so was pretty disappointing, which is why I've only just bought a 360.
