Suffocation, Dying Fetus, As Blood Runs Black, The Faceless, Angel Vivadi (for some instrumentals) and I also prefer a blend of Thrash and Melodic Death. Like Dark Tranquillity, Lazarus A.D. Sylosis, and Warhammer.
Ah okay =) Haven't listened to Suffocation and Dying Fetus, As Blood Runs Black I haven't even heard of. But there are a lot of great bands out there so that comes to no surprise! =P Ever heard of Swedish band Ereb Altor? Great epic band in the veins of Bathory. I would also listen to Undivine if I was you (also Swedish)! \m/
