Completely over-hyped in my opinion. The movie is basically A New Hope with teenagers in it.

Anyone thinking this is anything else except greed is delusional. They could have just remastered the game which is what all the fans wanted. Square has lost their touch, every decision in FF7 will be based on greed as you can tell with the butchered Action game-play to appease the masses and these idiotic episodic releases to milk more money.

On a more serious note, it is really sad to see these guys do absolutely nothing new expect ride on old glory. Mario and Zelda IP's are what is keeping this company afloat. Try and create a new IP for god's sake.

It's Mass Effect-y... I can only imagine what an abomination of a game this will be. Anyone stupid enough to buy this not realizing they are just milking the IP deserves to have their money taken.
