@Richardthe3rd: I am more just fed up with it. We went into Warlords with the same hype and came out disappointed. Community relations have become threadbare over the years as the devs seem to rely more on sites like WoWhead to keep players informed over actually speaking themselves. The down-to-earth discussions with devs in forums is now a series of scripted interviews and feedback, whether good or bad, is largely seen as ignored because the many many community managers seem to have forgot how to type unless they are defending things that are largely seen as bad ideas. Even days before launch multiple classes are messy and foul yet have not received any sort of response in months one way or the other on how its being handled. Trust is gone, they have to work to earn it back.
@SirNormanislost: Which is yet more reason to wait, its not that the content will be bad but that every opening week (and first month or 2) are a blitz of issues and balancing patches.
Yeah they "reinvented" with all the subtlety of a jack hammer. The heavy hinging on artifacts also means that a giant part of all the classes is transitory and we will go through all of this again for the next xpac.
If you are currently just sitting on the fence about subbing or resubbing don't do it yet , so much has changed and very little of it feels finalized from the classes to the content for Legion. They have seemingly ignored major concerns across the board while at the same time deciding everything needed to be made different. Yes the highlights look and sound nice but the day-to-day game still has many issues to it that likely wont be ironed out for months into it. The expansion may be great but from the current state its in in the beta its going to have a messy start.
