Maybe I should rephrase my question.. though I think someone made a good point already.... I have a life outside video games ;) There is no way in hell I'm beating 3-4 games a month. Heck, I would get burnt out from doing that! SquatsAreAwesom

Ha! I don't beat 3 - 4 games a month either. I go through 3 - 4 a month. I rent whatever I want. Play them as much as I want and send it back when I'm done. I beat 1 or 2 a month I'd say. But many games I'm just interested in trying. Not sure if I'll want to beat them, but that's what's fun about renting. You don't have to be in the mind set of beating games all the time. you can just play stuff for the hell of it sometimes and not worry about it.

Isn't that pretty expensive? That's $264 a year...

Also consider, that a lot of the early PS3 games are $18-$25 *each* on Amazon.com ... and could then be traded later on as well.

To me gamefly is a total bargain. I'd check it out atleast. They had some $5 first month start up deal going. Don't know if they still do.

I go through 3 - 4 games a month, so at your $265 a year that's about $6 a game. Hold on checking my math...yeah that's right. 6 bucks seems pretty awesome to me. Of course you could argue that you don't own the game but i don't want to own most games, so it's worth it to me just to get the game, enjoy it and then send it back to gamefly to deal with. plus you never end up buying a game that sucks. If I really want to own a game cause I like it so much I just buy it from them. Their prices are pretty good and once you apply the discounts and gamefly $$ you accrue, their prices get pretty ridiculously low sometimes.

University murder, big in North America. Big almost anywhere I would think. That doesn't mean I think it should be though.RushMetallica

Yes I can see that making the national news, but this has been a consistent headline in just about every national news paper for over a week now. I used to live in San Francisco and still read the online version of the SF Chronicle on a regular basis. The Chronicle ran this story as the #1 headline just about every day - in a paper clear across the country.

I'm sure being a a place like Yale helped but really 1,000's of homicides are commited every year and one or two for some reason have some combinations of factors that them worthy of not only the national news but consistent headlines for weeks.

What was it about that murder that made it hit the headlines like that? Not to take anything away from the tragedy, but I wonder why some murders turn into media circuses and others barely make the local news? I mean murders that don't involve celebrities or someone famous of course.

Probably my bed. Frame cost $2,500 and the mattress another 2k. Everything else I have is pretty bargain basement, but I had a bit of cash and decided to splurge on a bed.

btw: the mattress is a Sono mattress and it's literally the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I've had a couple friends visit at various times over the past couple years and let them sleep in my bed while I took the couch. Both times when they emerged from my room the next morning, first thing out of their mouth was something about the comfort of the bed, without my having said a word beforehand.

Dont' get me started. I'm seriously stoked about my bed.;)

it only happens when I sleep on my back...its weird sometimes when Im trying to sleep and I'm laying on my back I get this popping noise in my ear(except its not really a noise) and it goes through my entire body and it makes my head hurt a little bit, and everytime that has happened and I don't change to sleeping on my side or stomach I get sleep paralysis. Freaky.

A friend of mine used to talk about this sleep paralysis thing he called "thunder." Didn't happen as much the older he got, but as a kid / teen he'd "wake up" completely paralyzed with this roaring thunder-like sensation running up and down his body and crashing into his head. I think it kinda affected him actually, and not in a good way.
