I forgot to say why RPGs aren't out on the PS3 yet. =P Just look at the last 6 months of the PS2 and even after the PS3 was released what came out. We had FF12 real close, Rogue Galaxy, God of War 2, the new Outbreak series, and nameless others. The PS2 had another year or 2 in it. The simple fact is some company jumped the gun and forced other 2 companies to rush a product to market when their system was still viable.

In a world that games take 2-3 years or more to create when a company jumps the gun it leaves a lot of the smaller developers holding the check. Now they either release for a system that has a newer cousin and hope to generate sales or spend countless more dollars porting it to a new system and odds are will not stand up to the quality desired. But at any rate I got a feeling that the developers are working hard and by mid 09 PS3 will start to be flooded again by RPGs. Until then we just get to play what's given to us.

I have to say I miss the days of PS1 when if you wanted a good rpg you just picked one of the 30 that were out. Now not all of them were 10/10 but if you enjoyed a good story there were plenty out there. The PS2 did a really good job as well I just have fond memories of my Chrono Crosses, Legend of Legaia, and The Lengend of Dragoon. PS3 definitely needs some Japanese RPG love right now it is lacking.

For me it would have to be ICO. I simply cannot get enough of that game. The next in line would have to be Burning Road for Playstation 1 the very first game I ever got for PS. If you turned around and went in the wrong direction it said "Wrong way moron" repeatedly at you.

*SPOILERS*

I don't know about everyone else but I didn't even melee him until the 3rd form I just reflected his shots back to beat him. I have to say the first form in the very beginning is harder because all of the random solders through blocking your view. But to help you with that it works just like every one said just press triangle and nothing else for the blue attacks and go into power stance with the R-whatever button I'm not holding the controller couldn't tell you =P and then press triangle to send it back. The flying ones are slightly more difficult to send back but not that much. On a side note who else thought it was great script writing when you thought Kai was actually dead and was almost disapointed when she turned out to be "alive".

True it isn't a copy of God of War but it isn't as good as God of War either. I give Heavenly Sword a 3.5 out of 10, if you get rid of the Kai levels then it goes up to a 7.5 or 8, and if you get rid of the Sixaxis controls (steering arrow and canonballs) which is just plain stupid, then the game would go up to a 9 or 9.5.addictedtochaos

I don't know about everyone else but the arrow controls and cannon controls were one of my favorite parts of the game. When I had to go back to using Nariko's sword it was almost like back to the old grind.

Lol don't get me wrong I love the ape escapes now but back when I first got that game I despised it =P. I agree though I still find myself using the d-pad for racing games idk why but I do. But after playing some FFVII with d-pad the good ole times start running through you're head.
