Tate gallery puts art work in MinecraftClose
The Tate Gallery is going to showcase some of its most acclaimed artworks in 3D form, in the virtual world of the computer game Minecraft.
It has collaborated with the developers of Minecraft - an online game on computers where millions of players meticulously build fantasy worlds, block by block - to create 3D versions of two of its paintings, in a new virtual gallery.
On Monday, the first two of eight Minecraft images will be available to download.
