Free to play is already happening people. It started out for mmorpgs and spread to social websites and will soon based from EA will spread to their games. This is practically their way of saying "We own the game" and you don't. You can buy all the virtual stuffs you want but in the end we own it. Then once the player based shrinks they shutdown the game service and tells you to move on. Ripoff.

If distributing boxed games where as expensive as he thinks then why are digital game prices still the same as a boxed game? I'm looking at you AAA games. The chump change price difference of digital games from boxed games are is not that much. I'll take my retail boxed game anytime over a digital game. Oh by the way, retailers dictate game prices? More Talk sh!T! It's the video game publishers who sets prices for their products.
