@therogerwilco: I know exactly what you are saying. There is a thin line between demanding equality and reverse sexism. Like the Charley's angels reboot, they worked so hard on removing men from the concept to "empower" women that they forgot to make a good movie. But they blame the flop on sexism and not the fact that its a shitty movie. Its an eye roller for sure but I feel the power trip will soon pass and by soon I mean like 10 years.
@therogerwilco: You missed the entire point but I will elaborate. Yes!!! it is complex if they want to make a very womanly woman complete with hourglass shape and a sway in the hips when she walks... topped with bust animations, new armor designs ect.
What I was implying is that they can simply make ugly women characters that are built like men....... Thats what Im saying isnt that hard.
Clearly I was joking, at least I thought that was clear when I went on to talk about shaming and twitter..... and no I have never worked in game design, but most people have not.
You don't have to make the women curvy and dainty, or even good looking. Just put some butchy women on there and be done. If people complain about the women being ugly and built like men just call them shamers and let twitter take them out. Twitter hates shamers.
Oooh I may have to check out control. I cant agree with you more on the top two. Sekiro was both extremely challenging and just awesome!!!! RE 2 remake was the best "Back for the first time" type of feeling. So much felt familiar and so much was brand new at the same time. The Tyrant has to be one of the scariest intense villains to have to deal with in a game. Here's looking forward to 2020 er umm gaming anyway.
Still a bit odd seeing sonic in live action but its much much better looking. When you compare the two, I honestly dont know what they were thinking the first time. This design is more true to form with the bigger eyes and rounded out face.
