the cod series is way worse on noobs imo. i'm more of an sp guy and can hang in gears mp, but cod, every time i hop in, i wanna rage quit immediately. i've been playing since mw1 and the guys who have been on there since then or before are rediculously good. AND supremely unforgiving to noobs. gears has a slower pace, fairly balanced weapons, and most weapons allow you to get shot a few times and find cover and stay in the match. cod is a one shot kill machine with fast pacing. i know they're not easily comparable since they are quite different in scope, but that's just my take on the games.

i'm sure other routers do this as well, but i've always liked my linksys routers because of how easy it is to make changes. there are lots of instructions out there for you to be able to change your NAT settings and make the 360 run better. i'm no networking expert, but i was able to follow their instructions and open up my 360 within minutes and have been quite happy with it ever since. good luck!

i feel ya on this one. i agree to play with friends, but if you're like me, none of your friends have/play gears 3. i love the new horde mode too, but i think i've only gotten to around 19 once. i feel lucky if i make it past 10 with all 5 people still there.

this post succeeded in making me shake my head, feel old, and die a little inside. i'm no fanboy of any console, but it would seriously bum me out seeing nintendo's #1 franchise ever ported to the 360. console exclusives exist for a reason and should be left at that. but then again, that's just my opinion.

I think that it is, but I usually just get discouraged by it. On one hand, I have 100% in the first 2 Assassin's Creeds, but I don't yet in Brotherhood, and probably never will. Part of that is because I'm a SP kinda guy, so I usually don't get all MP anyway. However, in Bioshock 2, I had 100% before DLC, but now I don't and I doubt I will because almost no one plays online and when they do, it often is on the same maps that I don't need to play on. So that's a big bummer. And I know that I should hop on right away when the DLC releases and grind away until I get them, but I'd rather be able to get any achievement whenever I want, not when they want me to. So Bioshock 2 is a game I will probably never have 100% in (for me anyway) and that's disheartening since I have a special location for my completed games. This is just how I feel about it, everyone is different.

it was probably like lost. they wanted to make something that was cool and 'unique' that would get people hooked, and then totally not explain it at all. :)

there's another post on here about those. some people have had problems, but so far i've gotten like 1200 points so far, if not more. it's a pretty sweet deal. just don't forget about it so you can maximize your points each day and get there faster. and they have special offers on the bing bar if you keep it installed. usually updates once a week or so.

if you read on xbox.com, there is no addendum about deals. it just says xbox live arcade games or game add-ons. i would assume that would mean anything. there's no where that says deals of the week aren't included. plus, they would have to track whether you bought the dlc when it was on sale or not and i don't think they really care as long as you're spending money in their store. i bought 2 of the me2 dlc's along with some other. however, if you're still wondering, i'd hit up @majornelson or @xboxsupport on twitter. they'll have a definate answer for you.

i left my xbox on with a controller and a guitar plugged in and set up a private match of gears 2 with 1 minute rounds to get the party like it's 1999 achievement. then i went to bed. it bums me out because it's really the only achievement i didn't sit there and get in some way. but i knew i was never going to play that many round of gears.
