Minecraft is a sandbox game that's why it's all about options. You can build amazing structures or attempt to complete crazy challenges, or simply play with your friends. This means that a lot of players are making amazing Minecraft mods. Today we're sharing one of our top mods which is still in development, but looks absolutely magical.
Morica_, a Redditor, is developing an application that will allow magic spells to be added to Minecraft. Even though the plugin is in its infancy there's plenty to it. Different spells respond differently based on what they strike. My Games There are a variety of options for spells available however, the majority of them involve fire and explosions at the moment. The final spell is particularly stunning, since it blasts a chunk of the world and leaves a mess in its aftermath.
If you like the idea you can play around with the EpicSpellsPlugin available on Github and then launch it in Spigot. Spigot, a special kind of server, permits you to use these plugins and play with the game to a lesser extent. If you've not used one before, this is as good a moment to learn more about them.
Be aware that this plugin is still very early in its development, meaning that you can't cast spells with commands at the moment. Morica_ is also looking for individuals to help in the development of the plugin should you be skilled enough to do such things and have the time. Otherwise, we'd recommend testing the demo first and then keeping an eye on it, because Minecraft and magic are a match made in heaven.
In less fantastical Minecraft parts, we went and explored the White House because it exists and why not? If you're interested in it, you can also do it.
