[QUOTE="coasterdude33"][QUOTE="TheMistique"]the thing most people dont get about eyefinity is that the 2 side monitors you are never suppose to look at. they are suppose to be your peripheral vision that way you never notice the black bars. it's pretty amazing with the right setup. i had eyefinity for a while and it was great. the problem i ran into was that not all games are compatible and required to much configuring to get it all working. That's not worth it.Elann2008This is very true. You shouldn't notice the bezels. I have it running off a 5970. It was definitely worth it to me. I recommend it. (also great for video editing :) ) I can totally understand for video editing, multi-tasking jobs.. Have you run into a game that was incompatible? Just curious. Plenty that aren't compatible, but the ones that are are totally great. Dirt 2, BF:bc2, burnout, HL2( portal, l4d2, cs:s, TF2....so on) its an incredible feeling. There are a lot of games that just wont work or just aren't worth the work arounds to make work. I'd do it again.

With $3,000 I'd spend $1,800 on a beastly desktop and $1,200 on a respectable laptop.
a $1,200 laptop is usually plenty powerful enough for most tasks. This is just my personal preference of how to spend the money.
(actually pretty much what I did, have a powerful desktop and a macbook pro for on the go.)
I disliked it after awhile. it feels like a single player game with a monthly fee. You see other people running around, but you never really feel like you are playing an MMO.
And I seriously had to go on the lego website and register my drivers license so that I could add a friend to my best buddy list.... dumb
Now if only i can get the PoP sands of time that was supposed to come with the forgotton sands deluxe bundle :P
During the $1 madness glitch over at Ubisoft's website last week, I picked up a few titles for just a dollar. One of which was the Assassin's Creed I+II bundle. Like many of you, I didn't receive the game download but rather a .txt file. I thought to myself, 'oh well, some things are too good to be true.'
Low and behold, Ubisoft emails me (and other friends I have contacted since) providing us with a new code to download the games and apologizing for the inconvenience. I genuinely did not expect that. They could have easily just refunded my dollar and called it a day.
So despite all of their nasty DRM and such, I have become a fan of Ubisoft through this action.
