@blackrunie

There is more known about the PS4 at this point and it points towards the PS4 releasing ahead of the 3rd Xbox.

PCs are made by many-many companies and are made differently to handle many things that consoles don't have to run, therefore they shouldn't be compared to consoles or even be in SW against consoles. PCs cost more, don't do split-screen gaming, and aren't built just for gaming in mind. PC gaming is really only about the software, the games and not the hardware vs consoles.

It looks as though the PS4

will have a moderate processing advantage over the 3rd Xbox again, but this time it looks like it will be on par GPU wise with the 3rd Xbox. Again multi-plats will be made the same for each and you will get exclusive PS4 games to achieve greater graphical acheivments. And if MS uses Bluray in its 3rd Xbox as it seems it will, that's a victory for Sony showing that it standardized the game medium. Which all Xfans have denied was necessary and would fail like Beta Max did. Basically most everything Sony did with its PS3 will be built upon and enhanced to a greater level and not everything MS did with it's 360 will be whats used to build upon. Proving that Sony is the tech leader in making consoles.

They make an HD remake of The Legend of Zelda Windwalker? No wonder it's not selling.

It's simple! Make all games digital distributable, sell them for $40 and under. Then no one can buy used cheap games and the game devs make that money from everyone who plays the game. There would be no loss from people buying used games and renting them, yet games would cost $20+ less to buy. So people could afford them more easily than the $64 disc games that are out this gen.

You lower the PS3 score for being having issues, but you don't give the PC version higher than 360 version even though the PC Version runs smoother and looks better than the 360 version. Infact when I watched the comparison video there was less of a difference between the 360 vs PS3 than the PC version vs 360 version.

Sony is having a much easier time going from PS3 to PS4 than from PS2 to PS3. They already have the Playstaion Store up, already have PSN in place, already know how to build a system with HDD-WiFi-HDMI-Bluray Drive etc built in. The only thing they have to do is put in higher memory and higher processors and GPU and choose a design for the outside. Much simpler this time around. They can build/design it faster and cheaper than they did the PS3 because much of what they need is already in place.

Nintendo's mistake is continuing to focus on their controller and not put more into the console itself. Just because the gimmicky motion controls of the Wii were popular doesn't mean it would continue that way. In fact the last couple of years the Wii's popularity went downhill fast and it quickly went to last in sales. That should have given Nintendo a good hint to go back to standard controls and make a better console with the Wii U. I look for Sony to go back to 1st with it's PS4 and Nintendo to stay 3rd in sales as they have been for a while now.
