I finished the game. It is like a 5 or 6 hours games. Very easy.
I have two complain, one is the voice actor ... sometimes you expect something and they are very laid back which feels very disconnected.
two sometimes it isn't clear where you have to go to get to the next place ... i remember when I was a the foot of a big building but there was too much water and the stupid monster fish in the way ...
Otherwise the story is really good. the art style is fun, the mix of color and they way the water moves to convey the story really works.
GOW3 was fine and I was fine that it ended there. I mean he became a monster and in the process killed the only two thing he ever loved ... His wive and girl were the only thing that had any meaning to him.
So he took revenge. He tought he could forget his two loves but could not ... then the gods betrayed him and then it was personal. He destroyed everything ...
In the end he was alone and still stuck with all the pain of his memories.
@slakor: They only annonced Shang Tsung with the face of the guy who did it in the movie.
Other caracters it can be whatever.
Frost is an unlockable caracter ... the only one you can unlock so no need to pay.
Shao Khan I dunno I had him as a bonus.
If you don't want to play the game you can buy the game money to buy shit. Up to you but at least they didn't put it in your face all the time.
I think they only thing they did wrong in the game is some caracters you fight during the story aren't avalaible to play with ... but they still put the time to program them ... anyway maybe in DLC ( Hope so they are dope caracters ).
Otherwise I think this MK is probably the best they did with MK9 and 2
@adsparky: Just like going from P4 to P4G. They didn't change that much either.
Some new scene. A few redone anime scene, a new dongeon, new places, they may change some stuff of other taro card... like they did in P4G making the fox a little longer to actually finish because they made the fish quest different.
So it isn't impossible and they could do a DLC like the DLC for Bloodborne or Horizon Zero Dawn which cost close to 30$ but added a lot ...
anyway it is worth it for someone like me who got the steel case edition of the original game.
I may replay it one day but near the 100h I was exausted and wanted that game to end so so so so much
To me it should've ended when he killed his brother that got the Devil in him ... it was a sad ending where he lost more than he gained. After that it just became meh to me.
@thelostscribe: But they did the same with the N64 and Game Cube, they all met an early death. The year before their successor came out it was a baren wasteland.
You can tell when a new system is going out when there is almost nothing coming out on the system outside of trash shovelware
Anyway it is true that the WiiU wasn't a good move for them and they had to move on
