I checked with the Mods earlier this week on this sort of thing. Even though it's a bit more specific then the normal game threads they still asked me to keep all game suggestion threads in the main suggestion thread.

So my best advice is to check in there and maybe search out reader reviews.

I'm about to go on a road trip for a couple of days and I was wondering what games would you recommend. I don't want an excessively hard game that I'll need a faq for, just a few games that I can play for a hour at a time. I already own MKDS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and New Super Mario Bros. I've traded in Advance wars, Meteos, and Mario 64 but i either beat them or lost interest in them.
