personally I liked THPS4 better. But THPS3 deserved a 10. Reviews aren't comparisons with other games. Sure they can be compared but the criteria should not be met for comparison. THPS3 met 10s in all of the categories therefore deserved a 10.
Played it. Liked it. But I couldn't help getting that Legend of Zelda feeling from it...which is good by all means. It certainly beats a lot of the Legend of Zelda games on the market.
Im gonna edit the first post again to include more stuff about the olden days and pre-2005 stuff. the whole point of this is to sum up where systemwars came from.
Second, a lot of people mentioned the likes of gingerdivid and yo-foo and the rest of them .i left them out for tewo reasons. First because they are recent so i didnt want to document them, and second because in a history thread, i'd rather not acknowledge the presence of complete idiots.
lastly IF ONE OF YOU OLD TIMERS WHO DROPPED IN COULD ELABORATE ON MEGATON THAT WOULD BE GREAT. its like the only thing i have no clue about, but i know it was a big deal.

Ummmm...Deadman and Yo_foo were the same guy. And please don't call him a complete idiot. He had passion for his console which is usually not shown by regular cows. And because he was the minority he was considered an idiot. I remember McDonaldsGuy and Sonyismyhomey from way back before i signed on. I think we need to recognise these fanboys more becasue they were the ones who knew how to attract posters and thats what forums are all about...
with the NES it had the annoying habit of the player needing to blow into the game cartridges almost constantly just before playing a game otherwise it wouldnt work- or just as you're about to beat the final boss- the game crashes because u havent blown into the cartridge enough.

Oh! someone I can relate to. I guess that was the case with all those old cartridge consoles. It happened with the SNES and the Sega Dreamcast. 64 was alright though.
If the game is good then it will stay afloat - SIMPLE as that. I'm sick of hearing 'Jeff is Biased.' He boldly breaks away from conformity and makes his own reviews.

I think for the people embracing it, it's more about shutting up the people that keep labeling the Wii as "kiddy."
I own a Wii and I don't need to PROVE with what is going to be a crap game, that the console is not kiddy. If this is the only reason why people think it's a godsend then really people need to go back and take another look at themselves. I mean there's no point to it. Cutting off genitalia, exploding someone's head. Rockstar just want to annoy as many people as possible.
