@blast880 @chestersmurf obviously is it a subjective thing, that is why I said "widely regarded as" not "it is." Look around the internet a little and you will see that the xbox 360 controller is the one people love.

The xbox 360 controller is widely regarded as the best gaming controller in history. So what does M$ do? Spend hundreds of millions, then decide to tweak like 3 things on the new controller

"Riptide is dumb" (about the five minute mark). That does not sound like independent journalism to me. That is an insane phrase to utter when trying to tell someone about the pros and cons of a product (what a review is supposed to be). Also it basically sounds like the reviewer did not like the first game at all, because all of the video and things he complains about are exactly the same as the first game (including the characters). Not to say that improvement shouldn't have been expected, but at $40 it is better to consider this an expansion of the first game. If you liked the first when, bet you will like this one.

Talking about the modding community vs the developers, its not a simple as you make it sound. A developer has to MAKE MONEY. They have already sold Skyrim to us, honestly it is amazing anyone supports games after release, as this one of the few industries that does. I mean think about it, if you buy a vaccum cleaner and it doesn't pick up dirt the way that it is supposed to you are out of luck. Dirt Devil is not sending someone to your home to identify the potential problem and attempt to "patch it out."

Also the modding community for a game like Skyrim includes tens of thousands of people. That is obviously a much higher "development team" than any developer could ever support. So simply stating that the community fixed things the developer couldn't ignores the developers constraints and resources. This is not a 1 to 1 comparison and people should stop using it.

@bradocki

You do know you can shut off the autosave function right? or make it only do it when you travel or sleep.
