[QUOTE="Hiroshi_Ichirou"] Although I didn't want to tell them that, this is 100% correct. Some people even get the idea English can translate into Japanese exactly and it can't.Hiroshi_Ichirou

How would you know? You don't know Japanese.

Any attempt you had in trying to attack me will not work, I study Japanese so no one is perfect at any second language. You telling me what I know and what I don't know doesn't help either, many people have opinions on whats considered they know and what's considered the person doesn't know. For example I know a huge vocabulary of Japanese, but because I was still working on learning grammar and got a little good at it, a person claimed I didn't know Japanese because I didn't have his knowledge of it.

Let us not forget you claimed I was trying to be Japanese just because I type in Japanese, that's like saying what ever language I type in, is the nationality I am and that logic just doesn't slide. The only people who claim I'm a Weebo or a poser are those who know Japanese fully and don't understand the concept and key word of "LEARNING JAPANESE" or those who think they know more then the other person, but having no full understanding of what the person actually knows. Oh and by the way, I'm not dumb, I know you think I used a translator, but I learned how to type anything I post in Japanese, regardless if its a important word or not.

I learned all Hiragana and Katakana and what is funny is you still consider I don't know Japanese even by learning just that, any other average person would have congratulated me and said nice job in learning Japanese because I do the same to others in a way. Someone even told me that Katakana isn't Japanese and insisted on trying to tell me what it was, even though I already knew for ages. See how funny it is when people tell you what you do and don't know? Although Katakana is used for foreign words, it still for the most part is Japanese, other wise it wouldn't be in the Alphabet. But what made no sense in your logic is you claim a person has to know Japanese to understand something so simple.

Its basic knowledge that one language wont correspond with another language. I didn't need to study Japanese or know Japanese fully to get that important logic. In fact I won't be surprised if you feel, knowing Hiragana and Katakana isn't knowing Japanese. But like I said before, I know vocabulary and I'm getting better at grammar, so how long will it be before you still can say I don't know Japanese, most likely for ever with your logic.

I dont' remember how it began, probably by me correcting you on something, while you proceeded to message me an attack consisting of several paragraphs trying to convince me that you knew Japanese, all the while exhibiting that you didn't have even a basic or elementary understanding of the language.

No language can directly translate to English, it isn't that simple. What you hear in another language and what you are reading in subtitles is not a direct translation. If it was a direct translation it would not make any sense to the reader.

I know, the truth is, Japanese corresponds far less to English than other langauges. Even Chinese is closer to English than Japanese.

Subtitles aren't a good way of learning Japanese because they rarely actually correspond to the Japanese.

[QUOTE="amsfm6"]You know what's a joke? Your post. Stop being such an elitist. Just because someone has a ps3/360/wii doesn't mean they don't appreciate retro games. All three systems have downloadable legacy titles, and since Sega doesn't have a new console, they may as well be available on the ps3. You should be happy more people will get to enjoy the great Dreamcast games you are so fond of.codezer0
Bring up the issue of BC in the PS3 forum, and you'll see how many try to defend Sony's removal of it. But I would say, it would be hella weird if the emulation got so good that I could literally just put in a Dreamcast disc game into my PS3 and actually have it play. To put it in perspective, there hasn't been a move like that since the Colecovision had those plug-in add-ons for their unit to allow it to play Atari 2600 and Intellivision Cartridges from the one console.

Yeah, because forcing everyone who buys a PS3 to pay for a PS2 once more is a totally great business decision, espeically when most people already own PS2s and those who don't can buy them for the price of what would have been included in the cost of their PS3.

The thing about the DS is that it has a lot of JRPGs, but they're not that great. FFXIII will be better than all of them.
