were comparing it to cod in the way the review harps of the focus of no new game mechanics and gave it a six; where as cod used the same mechanics for 5 installments and always got good score. know your facts before posting dumb comments troll
the thing that upsets me the most is that in todays day and age, its seems as though gaming has become more of a corporate mainstream media feast rather than what it felt like like for me "back in the day" to be a gamer when the actual community itself was first coming together. Im 29, and was lucky enough to experience the shift of feeling like saying you were a gamer was "taboo"; to feeling like you had a retreat to go to with other people from the frustrations of the everyday life. Now I am unfortunate enough to see the switch yet again from companies making a game for the sake of their consumers,fans, public (whatever you want to call it) with everything they had to give effort wise, to day one dlc, micro transactions, half @ss built games with no real storyline in them, just a buy-product of a company forcing a development team to rush production as the cost of quality to build sales. I feel like these companies view us as mindless fodder who will purchase anything they throw at us because its called a piece of gaming hardware.
I for one am happy about this. I know this is a shot in the dark, but after the way they handled TFU series, and the star wars kinect; I can only hope developers start making their games based on fans and not soley on making money. Lucasarts started releasing half a$$ed made games to us that only look good as trailers while they contain nothing of real substance for the money we put out to them..... I hope Activision is next :P
I really hope to see some kind of a brutal melee finisher incorporated into this game. Just to see how all those wires and sparks would look like as oil leaking out as blood in this game similar to the movies would add to the effect for me of how brutal this war really is.
