Well w/ psnow on pc currently, and as said in another post microsoft UWP making grea strides to completion, how long will the exclusivity last. The switch is proving successful showing people are looking for new ways to play and microsoft seems to be ready to pounce on that to very soon. These developers are dinosaurs holding on to a dying business model. The time will soon come for them to adapt or die. The console wars are dying.

@daniel_su123:

Oh , ok. When i read this post I immediately began thinking of mobile devices like the asus zenphone (tablet and phone combo) which ran on an android OS. If it used a windows 10 mobile based operating system it could be a system seller provided it had the right balance of guts.

$1000.00 to $1,500.00 really? No way, microsoft could easily design an eight core powerhouse for less than $500.00, w/ controller. I can imagine being able to play gta v (or any other xbox play anywhere title)@ 1080p 60fps in my hands. With very little support from the developer. In actuality microsoft may have opened the doors for third party hardware.

Yanno after all these years you would think people would understand how fraudulent these gaming console manufacturers' really are. You buy $300 console + $60 game (which advertises multiplayer) upon release, they then appreciate the video game developer and consumer with a $10 a month paywall for p2p. Which is basically free. Which begs the question, why do people go to college learn networking and think this is ok? Ethically I mean.

I and many others know that these subscription services are the biggest scam in gaming. It offers no protection from hackers or credit card scammers and modders who like to grief online players. The only reason I pay for online is if they give a really good discount, namely xbox live for 1.00 a month, was nice and all I will ever be willing to pay. I myself refuse to support the current gen and many others should also. I personally feel that having my credit information stored on your servers should be a privlege for the company and me as thier customer, not the other way around.

So to the question, noI will not pay to play monthly. Also will not be supporting the switch in any way form or fashion because of this.

I as a gamer am so sick and tired of lazy developers. Can someone please free them from that bubble. Why do they still think we are kids. I always liked to believe the enjoying myself on this platform would not make me be seen as a kid, but with the head

hunchos continually making statements like this I wonder as a gamer, are we be appreciated as gamers who grew up in this hobby. "To hard for console gamers", is he basically saying his crew is to lazy to add steering wheel support.

Oh yeah, @commander its not so much the options that the pc allow as much as options the developers are willing to implement. In short they are just lazy.

Who cares? Modders and hackers are already killing console gaming. Consistanty exposing microsoft and sony for the frauds they are(in service offerings). There should be no reason to pay for online if you are not up to the challenge of offering the consumer the service they are paying for,namely security and fair play). 4k is a joke on consoles, 1080p is no longer relevent 60 fps is a dream in thier minds(console manufacturers and developers alike),. To many adult children in high position using legitimate children to make more money and not a better gaming experience.

@davillain-: I would say this entire post is why the gaming industry will die soon, or change completely away from it's current dilema. This excuse does nothing to explain the complete dissatisfaction the consumers feel when buying an end product. Consolle developers have gotten lazy, publishers are to greedy and the so called hard core gamer is nothing more than your typical Trump supporter, selling meme's and quotes. 4k is a joke!, no one cares, 1080p is all but forgotten. No real support for ciurrent devices

VR is dead get over it. AR is the future. Less hardware and the added ability to be aware of your surroundings will kill vr. Pokemon go is just the beginning.
