NO, you make your own moves for the most part. Your team is actually very good about moving and staying out of the line of sight. The only thing you do as far as commands that I've seen for them thus far is mark targets, then they fire on your mark knocking out 4 people at a time without anyone noticing.
I went into this game with kind of low expectations and while some of the visuals might not be that great, the gameplay makes up for it and then some. Everything is super smooth (from movement to aiming), the AI of your teamates is far superior than many other games out there, and it's just downright fun! I'm ready to do some co-op, thus far I agree with a lot of people that a 7.5 is kind of low.
I like so many others played the demo and loved it. As a huge fan of the previous sniper elite, I'm glad to see so many people ignoring the gamespot review and sticking up for this game.
Okay, so if you were playing as an "every man" I'd think you'd get more frustration than enjoyment. You can only run a couple of blocks before tiring out, can't shoot a gun accurately, go to throw a knife at someone and instead hit the wall 30 ft off from your enemy. That right there sounds like a great start to something special.
Yeah, this whole movement to not let used games work on the new consoles might not be such a great plan. First off, what's going to happen to a company like Gamefly? That's probably a business that's going to go down the crapper. Then you have consumers like myself who will take a chance on a game and dish out sixty bucks they ask for finding a little comfort that if I don't like it I can trade it in. Without that reassurance, the amount of games I purchase will decline drastically.
In the state this nation is in right now, I'd think politicians could spend time and money much more wisely. Find a real problem and solve that; how about this one: "Exposure to idiotic politicians is directly linked to agressive behavior"!
I've played this disaster and don't understand how ANYONE can say this is a great game (per player reviews) Lighting-terrible, shooting-awful and no different from any other shooter, melee combat-sluggish, boring, again... nothing new or interesting about it. Magic- sad. This game just took a bunch of concepts and piled them into one game... but when all your concepts are done like crap.... then you just have a bigger pile of crap. The best way I can describe how bad this game is. 1. I can already buy it for less than 30 dollars 2. I got more enjoyment out of kane and lynch dog days.
