Get rid of it.

I would just make up a story that you don't know where it went . Sometimes objects have things attatched to them. I would just see if that makes things better.

I like the idea of it and would want it but I am concerned about how it might affect me or other people. Not sure if there is adverse stuff and I kind of want to see what happens when people take the shot....before actually getting it

I think churches are good for putting morals into people.. such as 12 step. because some people can't cope with life without some sort of guideline..but the extremes are not good either. rules about not belng able to dance..wearing long skirts..looking down on other religions..gay people..etc.. does not seem to be so called "christian"...because the bible teaches you to be good and not judge. And in those cases they are judging so that is the opposite of the bible. Am I correct?

OK I know this is going to get me into a lot of trouble here but I'm actually not looking to cause conflict. I've been thinking about religion for a while and when I say that I mean going to church..going to temple..etc. believing and following a specific faith.

Now since I only have experience with the christian point of view personally I will go from there. Now I do not attend church but I have in the past and I notice they are always talking about doing good..learning the bible..etc Trying to get people to follow the word of Jesus and God to go to heaven in the end.

So they build large churches for their congragation...make tv shows.. sit in there and study the bible and meet on the weekends.. occasionally do fundraisers.

But my problem is with this.. what about helping the world.. I find it to be kind of a sin to sit there and better yourself with a book on the weekend and mingle and sing and pray when it's doing nothing for the poor and underprivleged etc.. Sitting there in a warm church while some people are out there cold on the street. Coudln't churches if they are really being holy and real christians spend their weekends feeding the poor..letting some sleep in their massive churches to keep warm. etc. I just can't justify sitting there and reading a bible or listening to someone preach. It's not christian at all.. Even jesus worked with the people..healed the people. so what is the point of these sunday meetings??

Thoughts? I am really curious what people going to church think of my theory.

Thanks!

What kind of church or religion does not allow people to listen to types of music. Personally I think that is a CULT. you can listen to whatever you want to. As long as you keep your morals about doing the right thing.. sort of the 10 commandments I guess. And I am not really religious but if you use common sense that seems to be the basis of all religions to be good to others and honest..etc..I will never be controlled by religion.

anyone see that jim bob and michelle duggar that have the 19 kids?? they aren't even allowed to dance. tell me how dancing could be a sin. they are crazy and it shows how unrealistic some religious things are.

but if you really must follow your religion..and not yourOWN judgement....ask your pastor. that's what he/she is there for and they will guide you ....

well my dad was an alcoholic for as long as I knew him. He was alright sometimes but I don't really know alot about his personality if I think about it. He would make fun of me though I know he didn't mean it in a bad way it still didn't feel good. His harrassment towards me due to the alcohol became too much so I cut him out of my life once I got to highschool. He had an enjoyment of sending letters which described forms of stalking..which I didn't like. As soon as I moved away from the area I felt even better. before that I got a few more letters basically saying he was religious now..His photograph made him look like Kenny Rogers or Santa. Not sure which one more of. I found it to all be crap. Sometimes I wish things could be better especially as I get older and I wish I could maybe get along with him but I know what kind of can of worms that would open so for now it is best to leave things as is. Maybe one day in the future I can deal with it but for now I can't.

And do you know what I think the majority of this all comes from? He crashed his car when he was 16 because of DRINKING and his head went through the windshield. He really screwed himself up and has seizures now for the rest of his life. He was really good at hockey before that etc.. so I guess you can see why I have a very low tolerance for drinking. sometimes it's best tojust stay away from people.
