My problem with the review is if its dinged because its more of the same, which even at E3 some said, why is COD always rated so high? Or any shooter for that matter?
It will have a life as long as as Acti is willing to accept less than top sales. It sees new gamers every year. Every year, the kid who watched his older brother, father, uncle play their last entry, will think its awesome. And so, buy the new one when he can, how he can. They don't care about outdated engines, graphics, resolution, any of it. They play whats hot. It is the cycle of POP culture
@anybodykilla15 @cainetao11 I was series 7 registered before going military, you have no idea what you're talking about. Sony as a WHOLE is in debt. MS isn't. I own ADR's (do u know what those are) Sony, and shares of MS. I look at this as business. Ive owned every sony and MS console to date, I don't play favorites. But the truth is the truth. Sony fans didn't care about indies before journey, now they're god? Youre all spotlight caring.
Are you serious? Anyone not sucking Kaz pole saw their conference and knew it sucked. Indies are the pop battleground. Sony's whole strategy is reactionary to MS. Now MS strategy was embarrassing to say the least. And being that human beings are flawless now, the fact that they have reversed what the consumer didn't like BEFORE its too late, they're catching flack for not being perfectly in tune out the gate. Heaven forbid. If MS called out Obama as a games hater, Sony would write a blank check to Obama within an hour (which would bounce). I don't believe everyone loves Indies this much, its just being indifferent to them is looked as hating the little guy who could. And in our culture that is a no no.
