Same thing you do with your computer motherboard when it gets outdated, sell it or throw it out. Simple....

[QUOTE="pesh_fury"]

To tell the truth I stay away from games that have female lead, but I have to agree with you tc.

But you know what will be more awesome? If there were more female game designers, programmers etc

That will change the industry FOR THE BETTER I'm sure.

GreekGameManiac

Sadly, that's wrong for one simple reason.

Those women will never be DIRECTORS.

You're an absolute fool Mr. Greek. Amy Hennig from Naughty Dog would slap you in the face right now...

[QUOTE="jdc6305"]This is not all Obama's fault. I'm 35 years old and watched everything my grandparents faught and worked for go down the tubes. My grandfather was at Omaha Beach Normandy in WW2. My grandmother built parts that went on the bombs that were dropped on Japan. Neither had a education higher then 8th grade but they retired with enough money to live out thier days happly.

The middle class has been destroyed by coprate greed. There are over a billion cell phones in the world and not one of them was made in the US. We hardly make anything anymore compaired to what we use to. We've been sold out.

As for gas prices you can thank the prior administration for that. Do some research and look up Dick Cheneys behind closed door energy meetings he had with the oil companys.Bozanimal

united_we_win.jpgIt would seem you believe that the US is "going down the tubes" because we are no longer a manufacturing powerhouse and gas prices are high. Apparently corporations are somehow greedier today than they were in the past. My understanding was that the American Dream used to be that anybody anywhere that worked hard and used their head could start their own business and become wealthy; self-reliance.

Consider that we are living longer and more comfortably in the U.S. today than at any point in U.S. history. Poverty still exists, certainly, but crime relative to population size is low, median incomes are high relative to most of the rest of the world, the average education level is at its highest in history, literacy and hunger are at a low, slavery was abolished long ago. Women can vote. Not only that, racism and sexism are rapidly becoming a non-issue domestically. Discrimination based on race, religion, and gender is not tolerated. When I was a kid I distinctly remember certain people in my community dropping the N-bomb in my neighborhood without reprecussions: They'd be lucky to get away with whispering such things today.

I never have to worry where my next meal will come from. My kids have access to quality health care without having to visit a neighboring country. In an emergency I know someone will come right away. I feel relatively safe in my own home. I can call my wife at any time 24 hours a day and know she'll pick up the phone. I can swap to another thread right now and chat with someone in Pakistan, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, or the United Kingdom- literally at the click of a button. My kids have great teachers and eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. We have clean water to swim in and air to breathe - better than it was a century ago in many parts of the country.

So don't tell me that everything my parents and grandparents - not to mention my brothers and friends of this generation - fought and worked for has gone down the tubes. America has been as successful as any country can be at integrating people from all walks of life and especially religions peacefully into a civilization of respect and justice. I think my grandparents would be amazed at how much my children know today versus when they were the same age and that they are comfortably and safe, to boot.

Don't let popular media and opinion skew your vision into thinking that because the nation has problems and because there are injustices - often great injustices - out there that we have failed or are failing as a country. It's not perfect, it has its problems, and it will continue to have problems because human beings are what they are, but we're working on it every day, and the standard of living and our quality of life will continue to improve.

Happy gaming,

Boz

Great post, you seem very knowledgable.

And to the guy who says nothing is made in America anymore. How about every technological advancement that has propelled the world into the modern age. EVERY computer on the face of this planet was pioneered by Americans, with an American operating system and American patents that made it possible. Not to mention the internet companies and services which are becoming more and more important in modern life. The world as a whole has grown in to more digital business ventures, and the US leads that department without question, and we always have.

Hurr durr, Americans are fat LOL. I don't know any obesity rates of any other countries exept MURICA so I'll continue to make ignorant generalizations that pertain to only 30% of the 300+Million 'Muricans

By the way I'm European, or Canadian depending on how stupid i'm feeling.

America!! FVCK YEAH!! (Jk I hate Americans LOL)

Most Sony exclusives, they seem to go for the "quantity over quality" idea. I'd much rather have the Xbox exclusives like Halo series, Gears of War series, Witcher 2, they seem more polished imo.

Americans deserve it for having such a crappy political system; not saying our system of government is any better.
