To me the exclusive count alone isn't enough to make me buy one system. The Ps3 has the potential to be better than the X box but only few games have executed this very well. I would get an X box simply because it's cheap and has most of the games the Ps3 has.
Although I agree that computers are a bit over the top when it comes to touch but I think that the I-pod and Wii have executed it very well. Apps on the I-pod that are motion controlled are appropriate and although the Wii DOES have games that POORLY execute the controls ( I haven't bought any yet so I can't name any) and it CAN be tedious to always have to sit up right to play a video game (try playing it laying down) games like Bully and NMH aren't over excessive when it comes to motion. it's just right. I have no problem with motion or some touchscreens (Computer+ Touch= FAIL).
Well a price cut in this economy would REALLY HELP ( I mean REALLY REALLY) and also they need to pump out more good games. I mean the Xbox is cheap and it covers the hardcore while the Wii is cheap and mainly focuses on the causal market. The ps3 needs to capture the causal and hardcore just like the Ps2 did.
Hum.. Well that's a toughie! Well (in my opinion) the X box has the most good current games but the PS3 has the potential to become a great console if game developers could execute it correctly. Short term Xbox Long term Ps3.

Or people who are/ aspire to be working in the video game field. I plan to be working in the videogame game field (game programmer/coder) but right now I'm transitioning to hardcore so I'm in the middle.
Gamers are like gamblers. They trust a console by either loyalty, probable exclusives or straight hardware facts. People support their console like their little brother or sister to convince themselves that their console will be the winner. Just like player stats or a teams win to lose ratio, exclusives are just supports to prove that they didn't waste their money on something that isn't the winner. In the end when the real winner is announced by either sales, or quality they flame the winner with "We'll win next year" 's and "Well we have teh most exclusives111!!1!!!". In the end you all just wasting your life. :(
