Forza 2 or PGR 4 if you're into racing games. Forza is the xbox gran turismo and PGR is like a blend of sim/arcade. If you don't already own Virtua Fighter 5 for your PS3 it's online for the 360 so thats the version to go with. Gears of War is a great game as well. Lost Planet is also a fun yet brainless shooter. I definatly love my xbox, you can't go wrong with getting one.

Bioshock was decent... cool leveling up system, great graphics but some parts are really annoying (the constant pipe mini-games) and it has virtually no replay value. I enjoyed Gears a lot longer. However Call of Duty 4 is definatly a good value with xbox live taken into consideration.

I beat RE4 in about 5 hours. Considering it took me 22 hours the first time, and it IS and extremely long game, thats quite a feet.

It's expensive.. yes. But as people have stated development costs are up ect. so we all pay for it. And do NOT complain about xbox live. It's like $4 a month. You can eat a whole 4 double cheeseburgers for that much (I don't recommend. ) Remember how much 64 games used to cost? And how much inflation has affected retail since then? Get a job and don't buy bad games. Or use gamefly or whatever. I'm personally afraid of signing up for such things as I've heard quitting them can be a motherB.

Well my game of the year is not my most played game, and probably not my favourite game of the year overall, but still without a doubt Game of the year.

The game I am talking about is bioshock. Its a stand out moment in gaming and to me, that is what game of the year is all about. Its very original and the story line is gripping. The game is packed with some of the weirdest moments in a video game to date and also the most memerable. The same goes with the visuals and art style.

To be this game was deserving of a 10/10 - you couldn't ask for much more

I'm sorry man I want to agree with you but I just can't Bioshock was a great idea yes but it was just horribly executed...

Uhhh.... First question: did you actually play it? Second question: what??????????

you know I wasn't all that into bioshock either. The gunplay seemed pretty weak to me. Anyways my game of the year is call of duty 4 for a great albeit short single player experience (that I feel is lengthened by arcade mode legitimatly) and one of the best multiplayer suites for any FPS. I have yet to play mass effect or assasin's creed though... so who knows?

I am yet to play assasin's creed only because it seems to lack replayability. I played half-life 2 to death on my computer so I don't see myself purchasing the orange box anytime soon either. Between halo 3 and call of duty 4 its a tough call for me. I really enjoyed both. I'm currently addicted to cod4 multiplayer though. I think I will be playing it much longer than I played halo's multiplayer.

Thank God! I was becoming a bit histerical, Everything seemed fine until I tried to "Connect to XBOX Live." My system would freeze up and I started to fear the worst!

See this happened to me yesterday... and today everything is fine. I'm in michigan. Maybe they're doing one region at a time. btw I didn't notice anything new afterwards.
