@DarpSyX @RS13 I loved most of the ME3 but the 2 hours I spent with Journey were far more memorable and hit me so hard emotionally I was crying a little bit towards the end. That is something I have never experienced with a game in the 22 years I've been playing them.

@Sauvent you won't even get a fragment of the same experience watching someone else play it. Most of it's magic happens because you are personally playing the game. I know that sounds weird but it very true with this game.

@midoo2004 @bm_zero It won in the PSN category since it is a PSN game not a PS3 game.

Again you can't even begin to judge til you have sit down and actually played this game. The actual gameplay is amazing and you just can't understand that from just watching a video.

@SipahSalar wow I feel sorry for you, seriously take an art appreciation course or something, cause you need help if you think everything needs voice acting, color, and story to be good.

@ddot196 you misunderstand, simply watching a video of someone playing Journey doesn't even remotely convey the experience of actually playing Journey yourself with the controller. The controls and responsiveness of the avatar actually contribute a lot to the emotional impact that game has. Add in the visuals and music and story being just as hard hitting on the emotion, and you have a masterpiece that will make a lot of people who don't normally cry shed tears.

@SipahSalar okay it's pretty clear that you haven't played Journey or even know what it is. You mentioned Journey having voice acting when there isn't a single piece of vocal or text dialog in the game. Also Journey's soundtrack is nominated for a grammy and is the most video game soundtrack of all time, so ya you don't know what you're talking about.

@NeleNel Journey vs TWD seems to be a popular debate. Personally I favor minimalist design a lot more than writing since it is vastly harder to convey an emotion. Also TWD because of how it was almost entirely focused on uninteractive cutscenes and dialog choices, it felt more like a movie than a game.

@Vitex2003 because not all studios want to produce for all platforms or are contractually obligated not to. If you only play PC, then go look at what won for PC game of the year.

@Klikandclick What is a game? Isn't what defines a game from other entertainment media the fact that games require real-time input from the player to function?
