I don't remember for certain if the key is "C", but what I do remember is you have to switch between driving and shooting mode when you're in a 'jeep' mounted with a gun. Just go into the game keyboard configuration to double check!

Well, you're not alone. I think Bioshock was overrated too. I would never buy another Bioshock title. I would never play another Bioshock title even if I somehow got one for free. That's how much I dislike Bioshock. Same with GTA IV, which coincidentally is right at the top of my no-no-list.

I don't see what makes this such a "good" game. It seems like typical same old same old crap honestly. I don't see any new innovations, choices don't matter at all, limited customization, bland storyline ala Fable 2, etc.

It's just....PLAIN.

SO, what gives?rsunset327

I actually agree with you. Here's my review of the game:

I'll be honest here. There isn't this one particular thing that would put Dishonored above all other games, but if you were to review the game, no matter which aspect you're looking into, there isn't anything in particular either that you would complain about. It is a great game, it just lacks the WOW factor.

The graphics is excellent, characters are well designed and well drawn, the countryside is beautiful and detailed and easy on the eye.

The voice acting are good. The narrative is fairly well done too. The gameplay is enjoyable. There are lots of weapons and powers you can play with. The weapons respond exceptionally well. The game is never dull and it's fast paced.

As for the technical aspect of the game. This is by far the best PC port I've seen of a game in recent years. The game menu is superb, navigation has never been so easy. The keyboard and mouse work flawlessly out of the box, and everything that should be customizable is customizable.

So you see? Although it seems like the same old same old to you, it isn't. Dishornored puts all of those components that you thought were the "same old" together, and makes it into a game like no other (game developer) had before. It's not an exceptional game, but it's a job well done nonetheless, especially when you compare it to the PC games nowadays.

ps: The PC game that I hated the most was once the most popular game on this planet. Guess what, it's GTA IV.

Just Cause 2, Deus EX: Human Revolution, and Sleeping Dogs. All excellently optimized for the PC. One of the few instances where the PC versions easily tower over their console counterparts.

Are you even hearing yourself? Some of those games weren't even developed by Square Enix. What is your accessment of STEAM then? They should deserve all the credits, don't they? SMH.

As for sleeping dogs, did you play the original game, you know the v1.0. It's so badly optimized, everyone's complaining at the STEAM forums. At the moment, it's already at v1.5 -- only 2 weeks after the game was made available on STEAM. Synonymous with excellent PC ports? Far from it! Commited to their work? That, I would agree.

I'm pretty sure that is in reference to DirectX 11. From what I've read the game doesn't work on XP. XP only supports up to DirectX 9.

Yeah, I heard the same.

The PC version doesn't suffer from that problem (despite having a very flawed mouse control). It only crashes on me once, and that because I was "alt-tabbing" all the time. So that's probably just an xbox issue.
