[QUOTE="blue663544"]

If i download KOTOR on Steam, and my computer has windows 7, will it run properly? "Can you run it" doesn't give a definite answer because KOTOR came out before windows 7

ionusX

through steam definetely.. if you had purchased it through retail or by other means i would have my reservations but steam is 100% gtg..

assuming you meet the hardware requirements of course.

Thanks for the quick reply

You can't use bonuses until you beat the difficulty you want to use them on. Make sense?

For example, if you're playing hard for the first time you can't use bonuses you unlocked when you played normal. You have to beat hard inorder to use them.

I shut down my ps3 and turned it back on. Now I get a message saying the network is down for maintenance. Guess it's down for awhile

I don't know about SOCOM but with Warhawk, you can change the controls so they're not "backwards". You can change both sticks to be inverted or not, and even change the controls whether you're on foot, in a tank or jeep, or even in a plane. Sounds like your friend just got frustrated right away and didn't take the time to check all the options.

Well the idea that you can lose or damage a single disk and the entire game becomes unplayable isn't fun. I lost the first disk of Metal Gear Solid so I can't play it. I don't want to buy it again because I had an original MGS and I don't want some greatest hits one. Also, what do I do with the second disk? Sell it on ebay with the case? Having one disk just make it easier. Especially with games that have 3 or 4 disks like Final Fantasy 7 and 8(games I own).

Also I think the idea of multi-disks games are kinda of thought of as in the past. I can't recall either the PS2 or Xbox having multi-disks games, don't know about gamecube. This is just me trying to remember off the top of my head. But going back to something that happened 2 generations ago seems like a a step backwards. Not hating on the topic, just saying that's how some people may feel.

If multi-disk games are a problem, and mandatory installs are a problem, I have a idea! Use cartridges! They load faster then disks, and the way storage is going, you could probably fit a lot on cartridges. My little usb stick can hold 8 gigs and it's as big as my thumb! Imagine what a cartridge the size of dvd could hold! That's a lot of gigs! Plus they're harder to break! Ok I'm done.

Guess the sarcasm...
