i do wish at times borderlands did havde more of a story it seems like you go form one mission to the next without any type of presentation or story telling. Fallout 3 seemsa bit cheap to me like you don't need skill for the game all you need is to level up and use the vats system. i would stick with borderlands because at least the gunplay is better

Well yeah, in fallout 3 the mosnters go down easilly but i dont think its necessary to be like borderlands that when you find a monster. You better be at the same levels that monster is, or you gonna die. Fallout 3 implements usage of vats and heavy weapons. I thnk borderlands being action focused and not story and exploration like fallout 3 is a good thing because if you get kinda bored from fallout 3, you can have alot of action with borderlands and kill as much as you want without worrying about hitting the level cap too fast. I just wish borderlands supported mods on pc like fallout 3 so i could use my own weapons.

another edge fallout has is the hours of game play but honestly if you are walking around is this desolate depressing world do you really want that many hours to play the game

Some people just don't like certain things. For example, there's a good chance you probably don't like... IDK, bubble baths or chick flicks, but your wife probably does. :P You can't force her to like video games. That said, if you would like them to be a shared activity, this is gonna be an exercise in give and take. Firstly, show an interest in one of her hobbies that you don't normally take to, as a way of getting to know each other better. If you show interest in something of hers, then you can talk her into taking a little time to do something you like. When you bring up games, make it about spending time together, not games themselves. Find a game you can play together, like New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Little Big Planet. Be patient with her and help her if she asks, but don't baby her through it. That will be a good way to get her foot in the door. :)SkylinePigeon

nevermind doctor phil up there listen the best thing to do is get that new pets game coming out on the ps3 oh and little big planet for some reason my wife sits and plays that for hours on end. i can't even play borderlands because she is playing it now. naother game you could try is heavy rain it's really simple to play and it's like watching a movie i'm sure she will like that.

I personally love the series. If it wasn't for this series i would have never played any jrpg. The stories in these games can get complicated and clichebut the characters tend to make the game stand out. M personal favorite is abyss

i think God of war 2 had a really bad ending. Like they made that game soley so you could buy a ps3. they built up the hype and the energy only to just stop the game and say "hey if you want to know what happens go buy a ps3 morons!"

I say Fallout 3. Borderlands gets old real fast. Fallout 3 not only has more depth and content, but it also has craploads of mods.

Grampy_Bone

i dunnno i played fallout 3 and that game got old really fast. you could never hit the enemies outside the vats system which to me makes the game to frustrating to play
