To be fair I asked a polite question and you posted a Dumber and Dumber video, that my friend is not very nice and immature, regardless of my history and living with video games from the very beginning and seeing the changes evolve in the industry... just looking for a fix to make the game better or to know if the other Far Cry games have the same problem regarding the guns... That's all, I am not here to make war with you life is too short for silliness I just want help and a opinion, I am new to this forum and expect to be treated the way I treat others if not then this ain't the place for me ?? :(

Thank you for your reply but I still can't work out how to put my gun away, I thought you folks here at Gamespot were helpful nice people so I guess this is your childish way of saying 'there is no way to put the gun away' this is a stupid and 'broken' feature in this otherwise good game, I am so glad I grew up when games were realistic and you had complete control like Half-Life, Jedi Knight and Splinter Cell etc, I am so sorry that you guys don't find realism to not be a problem, because you are only getting 90% of the experience, shame :( if anyone else knows of a cheat or fix for Far Cry I would really appreciate the help, is it the same in all the Far Cry games ? Also does anyone know of a video games forum where I can ask a simple question and receive an 'adult' answer with civilised discussion be it good or bad and not some stupid childish crap like the video posted as an answer to my question ? ;)

I have just started playing this on the Xbox360 and I am brand new to the series, but at the moment I am just not feeling Immersed because I can't seem to put my gun away and it seems to be ready to shoot at all times when having a wander around the gorgeous looking island, when talking to a friendly NPC I don't want to be waving a gun in there face, because that is just not right in my opinion? (I am a nice guy!! not a pirate :)) Being an avid Jedi Knight fan I could not unsheathe my lightsaber in The Force Unleashed and I stop playing because of this :( Why oh why do they not implement these simple things, its just spoils the game and the experience so you feel like you are playing a video game when you want to be immersed, maybe it is some kind of Health and Safety thing to stop you being too immersed like in past games totally stupid :(

Anyone else feel the same and is there a fix for Far Cry 3 ? is it the same in the other Far Cry games ? I can not see how to equip/unequip in the controller instructions and apart from that it is really good game :(

Go back to the beginning and play the best Splinter Cells (1 to 3), I am currently in the jungle on the Indonesia level on Pandora Tomorrow on Hard, can't wait to redo Chaos Theory :)

I loved Oblivion/Morrowind but I am looking for a PC or Xbox360 'hack and slash' game with a similar look, like Red Dead Redemption I want to explore a colourful but beautiful but 'medevil like' historical kingdom and be wowed by the scenery, unfortunately Skyrim was too black and white and bland, I didn't like it being mostly snow etc, can you help me find a game to play that wows me when I go to a new town/village etc ? :) Thanks
