And being a robot, he didn't really get much in the way of luck. He got... Probability. As Christy jumped back up, considered Chan replacing magnet with heat, turning up his heat producing device (OOC: I'm sure there's a really good technical name for this thing...), attaching it to the bar and swinging it in the path approaching ex-padrian. ...Yeah, that wasn't going to help, heat took too long to build up. That thing wasn't for a battle. What he needed was something too big to dodge, and too powerful not to kill. Something like, a tower... Chan turned around and headed towards the nearest of the castle towers. Sure, it was intact, but he wasn't running towards it for damage, but for time. He rocketed up on top of it, and waited for Christy to try climbing after him. When she did, he expended most of his remaining fuel jumping across to the next tower over, one that had sustained significant structural damage. Unless she wanted to splatter herself across the roof she had to climb back down now, and that gave Chan some time to beat this thing down. He dropped down to the opposite side, steadied himself by exhausting the rest of his rocket fuel, and began rapidly throwing aside stones. He didn't need a lot of them, just enough for it to fall this way. Getting out of the way might be a little interesting, but hopefully the obstacle course of stones and the like would prevent the same for Christy as she got over here.
As Christy, of course, moved to attack again (or just perhaps dodge), and threw the second iron bar at the tigress, again attempting to lodge it in her. As he did that, he called the first towards himself with the magnet, also trying to aim it through Christy, and just barely a foot to the side of the first (the side of it away from the edge, to be exact). Try dodging that without slipping of the edge...
Not happening, not letting that thing near him again. Chan took several quick steps backwards (although still near the edge, maybe four feet off of it) and away from Christy, and called the bar back to him. Ranged attacks only, not risking physical contact again. He didn't directly attack Christy at this point, but instead tried calling a second bar towards him. As it arrived, he tossed it towards Christy, but deliberately aiming so it landed behind her. If it worked on Renovir, maybe... In the meantime, he kept an eye on the dragon above, waiting for its head to come by again. Circling, ever nearer...
OOC: Of course kj's tactics get 20s. It's just him. :P Lenny chose to try to walk around back. Getting torn to shreds here really wouldn't benefit anything, and that crowd looked like the tearing apart type, even from here. Well, that didn't help. New plan; shove her off anyway. He activated the magnet again and tossed the bar at Christy as he jumped backwards, away from her. He didn't want the thing to go through her, merely to get lodged in her. If that succeeded, he intended to activate the magnet again and push the bar further while attacking, hoping to throw her off balance and off the edge of the roof. OOC: Next time I create a robot character for an RPG he's definitely starting out with a magnet drive type weapon. :P
Lenny saw the chaos at the castle as he approached. Well, he was unfortunately no combatant, so he might need to find some other method of handling things... He looked for an entrance to the castle that was lacking in hostile threats (AKA anyone), hoping to find a way in and up.
"Depends. If the dragon feels nice, you get reincarnated. Maybe even with all your memories. If she doesn't feel nice, or hates your guts as much as mine... Well, no one's done any solid research on any dimension for souls, so your bet's likely better than mine." [spoiler] Assuming Christy came at him causing him to jump in the first place, Chan lands directly behind her, jumps up, kicks towards her, and activates the rockets again to shove against her, propelling her towards the edge of the castle, and preferably off of it. [/spoiler] I would prefer w_k not read the above since it kind of allows her to know my battle plan. I'd not post it, but then Chan's just left helpless as Christy does something back to Chan like, say, backflip and choke him...
A problem, that was what this beast was. He needed to deal with her quickly, and not let her touch him again. He wasn't built for this... But first, to deal with the other problem. Looking upwards, Chan quickly pulled out his gun, and as Renovir wrapped herself around the world again fired the specially modified bullet at her head. In theory, the fact that it was hollowed out meant that the force of impact would shatter it, and the toxic toxin could spread. In practice, he had no idea what effect it'd have, but he figured he might as well use everything he had anyway, so long as those on the ground weren't yet worrying about the real threat. The real threat... He was a cipher, he could do something. Quickly now... Edoceo Writing Request x-object: Newton Message Body: The dragon's weak point appears to be the head, tell them to take that on. Renovir's also not omnipresent; she'll sense a direct attack, but if you can hit her with something else while distracted she'll take damage. Oh yeah, she can read cipher messages, so she'll likely read this. Can't help that, kind of distracted here... Yeah, giving Christy time to get over here. No matter, that was kind of what he was after... He waited until she dove at him again with whatever fancy kick she chose to use this time, then used the rocket boost to jump over her as she dove at him. See how she reacted, then... In the meantime, he kept an eye on the little tiger. If he could avoid hurting him, great. If not... ...In theory, don't hurt a child. In practice, shoot the leg. Not a killing blow, but keeps a potential threat mostly neutralized. He had no chose, not if the kid was enough of a fool to get involved.
Before Christy could extend her claws, Chan drove the bar back into her; not just with his own strength, but with the force of the magnet to shove it into her. He angled the bar upwards, attempting to throw the idiot off of him and a decent way into the sky. "Get out of here, kid. Your sister's dead, possessed by the same witch that's killing our world. She has no control over her mind now, and would also try killing you if ordered. She's a slave of Renovir now."
