Leave it to Gamespot's userbase to understand absolutely nothing about economics and what the guy's trying to say... When devices get as advanced tech-wise as everyone keeps demanding they cost money to make, and that means they have to charge more just to break even on R&D and production. You think brand new IPs will solve the problem? Absolutely not, it will compound it; the research required, designing a new game engine, and then the fact that people react better to and buy more of a franchise they already know. If you have to put more work into a franchise knowing that the lack of franchise recognition is going to lead to less sales it becomes a losing situation. Demanding that they release new IPs and lower their prices is demanding the impossible, and showing that you have no clue what you are talking about.

Just one left. I'm going to guess it'll be the new Orc villain from There and Back Again, not that I recall his name.

Bilbo, Bert, Thorin, Goblin-King, Radagast, and Gloin. I wonder if two more villains are incoming or they just think that more heroes are noteworthy characters. Or they're waiting until they can add more characters from later movies...
