This can be done even with live video streams that are only available for subscribers. I have never been averse to this. Because I'm using the wireless hotspot WiFi at my quaint hotel, I'm experiencing an unreliable and slow internet connection at home. I often bring water to their offices, and I also get their password which is updated every two weeks. This helps me to save money by purchasing my own home Internet. It's amazing how much effort it takes to get your own home cable connection. Therefore, I don't bother and simply use the Internet from the motel.. This also lets me be more discreet, for all the things I do on the internet, it's better if I don't have my own street address in my IP address..

So whenever an online seminar is provided by my investment adviser or my school hosts lectures by a renowned professor, or there's an underground party streaming, the stream will be exactly the same. There's no way for me to stream video due to of my poor connection. When I download video to my computer, it can take anywhere from 2 to 3 times as long, which is why my connection is slow. It is only able to stream videos seamlessly and uninterrupted. Since my Internet connection is slow, I have found a clever way to work around it. I'm able to save online video to my laptop, so that I can watch it repeatedly without buffering.

Here's what I've been doing recently.. I open Chrome browser, Firefox, Safari or any other that has inspect tab. Right click on the page, call the inspect page and then go to the network tab, and search for a video playlist files. It'll usually contain the extension m3u8. It could also be something with another extension. However, the characters are present, so it will indicate that there is a specific playlist for the video stream. The video stream is then split into smaller files, which your internet browser downloads one at a time and then plays them in their order. This ensures you have an uninterrupted stream. This process is seamless and needs more data transfer than it has file size However, this is the way mpeg transport stream is set up and we shouldn't be complaining.
The playlist file is selected by right-clicking. I copy the URL address onto the clipboard. Then I visit the site to download online video. I type the URL of the video playlist into the input box, and press submit. after a few moments I am able to see various download options with each one indicating the the possible size of the final file and transfer speed. The better the quality , the bigger the file gets. I typically choose lower quality, even if it is too much for my Internet.. The majority of times, the playlist file comes with various quality options in order to help those with slower broadband.

I downloaded the file. It's typically mp4 for video format. Although it could take hours to finish however, the benefit of learning is what keeps me motivated to complete it. Since I'm not able to watch live, saving video online to my laptop makes the most sense. It is also my method of staying up-to-date on all the latest information. It's how I keep my mind occupied with new concepts, ideas as well as other exciting technological developments. It's all alive when you save your video and connect to WiFi. This is something I strongly recommend. Smooth streaming without buffering or lagging.
