FFS i'm sick of people saying that Xbox 360 can't do 1080p. It CAN and has been able to for ages now. Games can be upscaled to 1080p via Component, VGA or HDMI. All post falcon 360's have a HDMI port. The other point is the only game I know off the top of my head that is rendered from the ground up in a 1080p resolution is GT5. Everything else is just upscaled from 720p or similar. There is virtually NO difference in picture quality when upscaling 720p games to 1080p as the texture resolution doesn't change. Pretty much no difference image quality wise between the two consoles, but in motion 360 games generally have the advantage. Who cares i'll be getting a PS3 anyway once MGS4 comes out and so I have access to Blu-Ray as well.
