It's an excellent port and I enjoy having Minecraft on the move. It's a an embarrassment that Nintendo does not offer official Trophys /A great port, I really like having Minecraft on the mobile. While it's unfortunate that Nintendo doesn't offer Awards or Achievements, the game solves the issue very well.
Technically everything is in order. The size of the world is sufficient to explore, and the limited drawing distance for mobile is acceptable, given that the game runs smoothly with 60 frames per second.
While local multiplayer is a great feature to have it's only useful when you have television. The display on the Switch isn't big enough.
You can download Minecraft in case you don't have it or want to play it on the go. It's an excellent port that deserves a lot of love. .... Expand

Two words Better when you play together. Minecraft is an excellent game. I've played it for 60 hours in just two weeks.

Minecraft on Switch is a fantastic combination of portability and functionality. It's more powerful (map is much bigger) than on otherMinecraft on Switch provides a fantastic balance between portability and functionality. It's more powerful (map is much larger) than on other portable devices such as iPad, PSV while it's portable and you can play it wherever you'd like compared to powerful consoles like PC, Xbox and PS4. People, please stop complaining about how this version isn't any superior to the console version. Are you able to play a decent version of Minecraft on the subway using Xbox or PS4 (not the less-expensive version available on iOS, PSV)? In general, this Switch version will make me want to play Minecraft more often than I did before, and I believe it's a great game option for Nintendo Switch. Its biggest issue is its price that is a big difference to other platforms. However, it came with some excellent DLC texture packs, as well as Mario mode Expand.

A great game for any platform! The only problem with the Switch version is that it doesn't allow you to join your own rental servers.

Minecraft for the Nintendo is horrible. It is so frustrating. I will play minecraft on my computer whenever I want to. My children feels the same! 0/10 soMinecraft for the switch is a nightmare. I am so mad at it. I can play minecraft on my computer if I want to. My children feel the same way!
