If you know what you're doing, and your squadmates/leaders know what they're doing it's an awesome game. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure out how to work with your teammates and accomplish objectives, it really is a ton of fun. You can still run & gun like CoD or Halo, but it really rewards teamwork and cooperation.

David Boreanaz.

If you've seen Bones (or even Buffy/Angel) you know he can pull off the sarcastic tough guy.

A few things:

1. You have to allocate a skill point to the "Resuscitation Skill"
2. You have give one of your loadouts Medical Kit which costs 1000c (as opposed to a First Aid Kit at 600c).
3. You're all set to use the Medkit to revive teammates in-game.

1. Collecting and leveling up the AWESOME weapons
2. Great sense of tongue-in-cheek humor for adults and slapstick comedy for kids (and adults)
3. Replayability

You can list all the aspects of the game you want, but what the R&C series does is nail the sense of fun. It's hard to describe in detail, but R&C games are just a blast to play from start to finish. Insomniac's love for making games really shines through in every aspect of all of their games.

Game of The Year: Uncharted 2 - Pure awesome.

Surprise of the Year: Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Infamous - all MUCH better than I anticipated

Disappoint of The Year: Gran Turismo PSP - It's still GT driving, but I'd kill to have a real career mode.

Anticipated Game: 2009: Uncharted 2, Killzone 2; 2010: Mass Effect 2, Gran Turismo 5, MAG

''I don't get the hype'' game: Monster Hunter Series - I'm pretty sure a new one came out 2009, though I can't comprehend why. Also, pretty much every Wii game.

I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61!

I beat it in 10 hours on Hard. I'm slowly working my way through Crushing and dabbling in the online modes.

It's not just you. That's why I decided to play on hard. I figured it'd last longer (that's what she said).
