BTW, using only the cricket bat is not necessary, when you lose a weapon it respawns in one ot the locations around London; one can check the computer inside the safe house to know where it is (along with ammo, items,etc).

This is a LIE, whenever you fail to get your backpack back, you only have to check the computer in the safe house that's wired to cameras all around London, and it automatically tells you where the guns/ammo/items etc are located. There's no excuse, if you had to play the game with only the cricket bat that's because you sucked at the game... wait a minute... DID YOU EVEN PLAY IT BEYOND 2-3 HOURS?

Me and many more have respected this site for a long time, and lately the reviews are not doing what they're supposed to, they suck! Some of them make me think they didn't even got to play the game in its entirety or that they're not too skilled or at it.
@jesuspantoja00 The game is awesome, but's a bit difficult too. If you have patience and/or love the zombies genre you'll love it, but if you don't, then perhaps you should start with an easier game to get accostumed to the controls, etc.
I own the game and it is fantastic! I usually agree with GS, but I don't really know what went wrong this time.
For me watching this review feels like they are talking about a completely different game.
IMO: The game feels great and looks very good, blood is there, gore is there, there's tension, the gamepad works genius, there are various weapons to choose from (pistols, carabin, gun turrets, grenades, etc), the combat is alright....
If you like the true horror-survival games, make sure to give this one a try. This is coming from a serious gamer that loves RE (1 through 5), DarkSouls, Deadspace, etc.
I just received my pre-ordered wii u this weekend and got to play Zombi U ... and it's a freaking fantastic game!!! :D
It's what the survival - horror fans had been waiting for!
The gameplay is smooth, the gamepad integration is genius, blood and gore are there, combat is fun, so far I've used the bat, 2 pistols, a carabin, a couple of gun turrets ... it is not boring like they say ....
I just thought I gave you my opinion, since a lot of reviews are messing things up.
I'd define this game as an FPS Walking dead experience, I'm a big fan of the show.
