If the VC had all the games it should, my list would be

1) Yoshi's Island (greatest platformer ever made)

2) Super Mario World (second greatest platformer ever made)

3) Super Smash Bros. (best multiplayer franchise ever made)

4) Earthbound (One of the best and most unique RPGs ever)

5) Super Metroid (great action game with excellent atmosphere)

if they are in red they are missing. So the best so far is Mario World

I'd say 7.5 to 8.5.

No such thing as a hardcore game

There's hardcore gamers but that's where it ends

kenakuma

True, any game can be played either casualy or "hardcore". How the game is played is determined by the player, hence there is "No such thing as a hardcore game" however "There's hardcore gamers".

NOW there ARE games TARGETED at hardcore gamers (as their are games targeted at casual gamers) and I guess you could consider those games hardcore in relation to their central audience!

Brawl is both overly casual and extremely competitive. It depends on the gamer's playstyle, but some games have a bit of a 'hardcore' factor. However, I do agree for the most part.

If you want to go x64, you HAVE to go Vista, XP 64 has a lot of problems and I'm not talking about games or usual software, I'm talking about stability issues, driver issues and quite a few problems with some applications.

If you don't want to get Vista x64, then stick to XP x86, save yourself the trouble ;).

simardbrad

stop spreading your lies!

I have XP Pro x64 and I've had no problems with drivers, stabilitiy or software. If you want to run into problems, go ahead and get vista. Visturd can't even run a lot of games even on its 32 bit version.

I have this problem myself.. I much rather XP. And now there's a Windows 7... Microsoft just loves helping people upgrade (buy), don't they?

'Hardcore', huh? A game that's fun to play and feels worth the time playing it. Now that's pretty hardcore, since there's not many games out there that fit the description.

OoT is the best game of all time, personally and of course arguably. They need some Earthbound BAD though.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Super Mario Kart Wii No More Heroes Twilight was alright, but had the potential to be much better. Galaxy was a breeze. Both fun, but not as good as I thought they'd be.

Use Standard B with Metaknight until your hand falls off. Or Side B with Pit. Don't play Sonic. Use Wolf because he's the best. Not many know this.

i have heard that the no more heroes game is good. I saw it at eb games for $20.00. IS it worth getting for $20.

Please Reply

Dan_Lionheart
If you have a Wii, No More Heroes is just worth getting in general. It's quite a great game, and I was very surprised at it's quality.

I second this. If you're into punk style/electronic feel, and just killing everywhere, this game's for you. The style was the best aspect of No More Heroes, hands down.

[QUOTE="evrdayblues"]Wow, a potential Wii owner comes here to ask a few simple questions about the Wii's library of games, and all he gets is all this abuse? A nice way to welcome a new Wii gamer... The Wii boards were supposed to be considered as a warm and friendly board in comparison to some of the other ones. Good job people... Jaysonguy

Yeah, I mean he just comes on and insults the platform and it's games

Seriously?

He doesn't insult. He says he doesn't like it. There's nothing wrong with an opinion. Everyone is just getting offended because they like the Wii a lot, and don't like it when others do not.
