so Strange that I own both a PS3 and an Xbox 360 and own GTA4 on both systems and i use a Toshiba 32 HD lcd and nither system has graphics that look any where near as bad as these photos make them look out to be. I admit that with the right pc system you can make any game look better then the consoles. So in my humble opinion this is a failed comparison for this reason. the settings have been modified to scure the results. These graphic flame wars just cause aurguments betweeen great gamers and benifit no one. I can make either console look better anytime i want by changing my sets gamma,color,tint,sharpness and brightness. looking at these photos makes it so apparent that they neglected to set up each console to it best settings. seeing that ive have owned and played every game shown and none have look anywhere as bad on either one console. Fall out for example with the over darkened graphics and blur gta's blurry ps version do to the4 brightness set to low. com on gamespot at least show us examples of the best settings for each console if your going to use top end computor componets. other wards make it a fair comparison.

I also see how you got the 360 too look better then the org settings sure i can make either game look better then the othber with tv settings. Again so biased this will be my last month paying a dime for this site. Every sinse MS360 debuted you have done nothing but redicule the ps3 and go way out of your way to print anything bad about the system and your reviews are even more biased.What ever happenbed to fair and balanced reporting. I cant wait to see the next installment and the differances between gta4 and gta5 when it maximizes teh systems a couple of years from now. poin t and case look at teh gta3,vice city and san andreas. begining of a consoles cycle and teh ending. imagine how the next 2 gta's will look like in the ps3. just ffod for thought.

I have had mine since japan has had them, I also paid 10 bucks less shipped to me over seas. I have had a great time with the games that offer rumble in it most noteably Warhawk and Devil ay Cry 4. The sword play and neros cool hand make for some great feedback. I in my opinion find this to be a must have for all PS3 owners, because with all future games it will take form the game if you don't have one. sure it adds a cost to it. maybe just trade a couple of games you dont play anymore to offset the cost or do as i did and look for a deal on ebay or Amazon for some type of heavy discount. I also find it great to see the battery life seems almost the same as the Sixasis was.

you know what confuses me is all the posts on FFVii crisis core a game not even out yet on how good it looks.. this brings to mind how many games that have been out that when actually played and in the market look no where near the pre release snap shots or screen shots.. So until this game is out and really compared to GOWO i feel the comments on how great this gmae is and the comments on how it is better then GOWO are very inmuture and un realistic.

to answer the many post on frame rate.. After completing this game twice i found only 1 frame rate issue and that happened when I was low on battery.. this game plays better then GOW and almost as good as GOWII. My only critic is i really wish it was just a little longer, I have like many others been spoiled by the long game play of this franchise, but considering the limits of a portable I really feel this game came through and increase the value of this franchise. Like many I too would love to see this ported to the PS3 with extra content.
