@zyxahn The reason alot of people don't want to pay for a STUPID LIVE ACCOUNT is they don't want to pay for things they already paid for. Example NETFLIX. People already pay NETFLIX a monthly fee now they have to pay a GOLD fee just to watch something they are already paying for. If that makes sense to you then this world is going in the wrong direction.

I remember MS saying they can not change their DRM policies and be hold they did a complete 180. So yes if they really wanted to MS can remove the GOLD for specific games they just don't want to.

@arqe Maybe they changed some mechanics after E3. That is possible. Cause the DEMO at E3 was all QTE. I could be wrong but that is what i got from watching the DEMO.

Is it just me or these microtransactions pissing you off. it is so annoying to need say one more slot wait it is 20 bucks.

@AggrandizedUser My machine does not crash but i can tell it is eating away at my GPU big time. SO you have AMD or Nvidia GPU? I had to lower the settings all the way to LOW to even play the game.

@x2rufff4u @arod628 @zeusbark Good. Give it a try but i warn you now. The learning curve is HUGE. Use space bar as much as possible. It seems like it gets alot more fun when you are more leveled and have more abilities. But game is still hard. But extremely fun.

@redsiy I agree with you. I 'm a huge D2 fan and I like D3 i don't love the game. But when you say you don't have to use the auction house. In the beginning before their changes to loot you HAD to use it. You could not advance to even nightmare without using it. You would get loot 4 to even 5 level below your current level. How are you suppose to advance using OLD ITEMS. That was their huge downfall.

What I never understood is D2 had just amazing core features and features players loved. Why would you ever think of removing them. That i can not understand.

@blitzinD Well squad managment was a little tedious in XCOM:Enemy Within. You had to be careful where you had your sqaud members or they will die. Only difference is in this XCOM it is live action instead of turn base combat. I love both aspects of both games. But with new XCOM it is alot more challenging controlling your squad members and paying attention to your enemy.

I wish they had a demo so people really had a chance to see how good this game really is. I really don't think the reviewers really gave this game a chance.

@zeusbark LOL. I felt the same way last night. One more mission. But like you said the game is more fun then people think.

I have to say this game is actually pretty good. Yes the story is not amazing but it is good for XCOM. Combat is ALOT OF FUN. It is actually very challenging.

Please don't let this review steer you away from trying this game. If you like XCOM and games like Mass Effect you will like this game. It is not that easy as you may think. But i will warn you it is a GPU nightmare. If you do not have a very high end VIDEO CARD you will need to lower the res or lower the graphic settings to run smooth.
