They make it back like that anyway. *clicks fingers*

So it really doesn't matter to them, they'll keep going until they win a generation and can dominate the video game market, pushing out the other companies. Then they'll expand into food. And kick Tesco's arse. And then they'll do clothes and stuff. And then they'll rule the world.

By 2008.

Nextgenwars and VGcharts are useless anyway, they just take estimates, I mean VGcharts had the 360 at 9.5ish million sales for months, even though MS reported they sold 10.4 million by the end of 06.pundog

They said they shipped over 10 million...

I think VG Charts still has it under 10 mil. Which is stupid, I'm sure M$ will have sold more than that now.

£1 =/= $1

Obviously it's going to be more expensive in Britain but something a bit more sensible, please? $1 to 75p would be more fair.

VC Games > PS Games

However, they are far too expensive. Considering it doesn't cost Nintendo anything to make them. Sometimes it makes me think they're reverting to their old ways - when they dominated Third Parties...

The release of Castlevania was a good step today.  They're lacking important key titles such as Killer Instinct, Contra, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong Country 2, Double Dragon, TMNT 2, River City Ransom, Super Metroid, and many many others.NocturnalDemon

They released Castlevania?!!?!

*goes and buys*

[QUOTE="armatage_shanks"][QUOTE="Bullets4Brains"]

[QUOTE="MaxxxReebo"]ALL systems have a few defectives at a launch, without exception. I'm curios to see if the percentage of defective Elietes is any different than any onther launch. Until then, I don't think anyone really needs to get excited. Or is it just because the PS3 fans are taking the only shot they've had at "pwning" ANYONE in the last 8 months?martin_f

It's not a few defective units, it's a lot. MS said 3% are faulty, that's BS, A EA employee once said it's closer to 33%, I'd believe that from all the stories I've read about three red lights of death. Elite is no different, same hardware same chip, once it heats up and the board expands the solder snaps between the GPU and CPU and bang goes your 360.

3% is quite a lot. 1 in 30 units are faulty?

1 in 33.3r

i have both and i can honestly say that the ds isnt very good.. it just another gameboy () with touchscreen (which isnt new technology even though eveyone with a ds thinks it is). but with the psp you can do so much.photos, music, videos,(I can do these three things on my MP3 player. And it's better quality. And smaller.) internet (I can get this on DS. Or if you mean a browser then I can use a computer). and the games have nice graphics (DS's games have "nice graphics")and are longer (Yup, Mario 64 and Phantom Hourglass and PiT etc are all miniscule quests)and have more depth than most ds games.

im going to sell my dsl and 8 games, so how much can i get for it???? (It depends on the games. Around about £100 probably though. That's $200.)

As mentioned before, the only reason the PS2 sold so well was because of it's defectivity. There were probably only about 60 million sold. (not counting seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths etc).

However that is still a substanial amount. Here are my predictions:

1. Wii --- 80 million (+20 million)

2. PS3 --- 50 million (+20 million)

3. Xbox 360 --- 40 million (+10 million)

The "(+ xmillion)" is my prediction of how well the console will sell in the next generation.
